I am a US native who resides in Argentina for 3 months every year. I am pleased that Milei has had the courage to speak the truth and rally Argentines to healthier economic wisdom. It's time for past politicians and everyday citizens to unite around a long term strategy for this awesome country healing from broken past promises and a potentially blessed future.
To the American Citizens I say, Look for these 2 Names, Melville Sewell Bagley and Kaiser-Frazer Automobiles. They are closely linked to the Argentine automotive and food industries.
Fascinating shift! 🌎 What draws you to Argentina, and how do you perceive this change? Share your insights and let's discuss the reasons behind this interesting migration!
Fascinating shify for all people from outside argentina, who come here to enjoy high quality food and tourism that none argentinian could acces. Milei means nothing good to us. Go back to your country!
Argentina is a beautiful country; the left has yielded very poor results in Latin America-they cling to power and amass wealth illogically. I don't appreciate the vocabulary Miley uses in his speeches, but I see that as president, he has toned it down significantly, which might help him be more conciliatory. A challenging path ahead; I wish the Argentinians much luck and patience.
As an Argentine, I recommend waiting 4 more years to see if the reelection of President Milei and economic stabilization is possible because right now it is a very delicate situation for the people, many people want to return to the socialist government, the population is very fragmented, 50% wants to maintain the true path with President Milei and another 50% want to go back to the past, Argentina is a very unstable country, in four years a capitalist government can win, and in another four years a socialist government and throw all the work in the trash , I recommend people wait a while before moving to this country.
I agree completely - people want unrealistic fixes to problems ? --- An impatient public and unwillingness to - "bite the bullet" - dooms the masses !!! 😥
Sorry, but capitalism will worsen the situation, socialism is where industries are owned by workers not by businesses! And public ownership of resources/means of production leads to a more equal society
I wholly agree about waiting to see (well, for those who needs to wait, I've seen enough already, I already saw this movie three times before and I know how it ends)... but then, people getting back to "socialism"? That's ludricusly laughable, Argentina has never had a socialist government, not even close. Ask socialists parties about it, they never got more than 4% of votes. The Argentinian right wing -which always have had a generous hint of fascism- always needed to come up with an enemy, and nowadays it became trendy again to call "socialist" to whoever doesn't dance at their precise beat... and telling peronism is socialism makes both peronists and socialists stop beating each other and gather togheter to share a good laugh at such literacy licence (to be polite).
@wajdi_bouzidi Not in Argentina, we've had socialist governments for over 50 years, and they just destroyed what once was a great and prosper country, and drowned it in misery. Capitalism FTW
No thanks, ive lived and worked in the USA and i was thankfull for beeing argentinian and for the opportunities my country gave me (which you don't have in the USA)
I´m Argentine and I voted for Milei, bc I didn´t want Massa to win, not bc I did like Milei in reality, I hate Massa, but I went to the supermarket and prices have gone down!!! so I chose my vote properly. LONG LIVE LIBERTY!!!! 🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽
so i did not hear anything from your video about "why americans are moving to argentina...." did not see any interviews with Americans wanting to move to Argentina..
To the American Citizens I say, Look for these 2 Names, Melville Sewell Bagley and Kaiser-Frazer Automobiles. They are closely linked to the Argentine automotive and food industries.
There are (surprisingly) many USA citizens moving to Argentina, guess we will have to wait for a future video in which you actually speak to people that moved and give their reasons. For those interested, you can visit the page from Economic Front here in RUclips to check his reasons to move.
You realize that in saying "americans" You are talking about northamericans moving to a country in southamerica? Both belong to the american continent😂
Argentina has a 44 BILLION dollars debt. The US has a 33 TRILLION dollars debt (and 8 times the population of Argentina). The problem is Argentina cannot print dollars.
Fascinating shift in migration! 🌍 What's your take on Americans moving to Argentina? Share your thoughts and let's discuss the reasons behind this interesting trend!
I wish you'd all knew how annoying it is to hear play tango on every video about Argentina! 🤦♂. Tango is representative ONLY to Buenos Aires city, NOT the entire country... 😩
For Americans who wants lo live here, there are this things you need to know: -If you speak broken Spanish, don't worry, people will try to understand and help -Get the Public Transport Card (SUBE) -Palermo, Recoleta and Puerto Madero are the worst examples of how Argentineans live, go to other neighbors if you want to rent in BUENOS AIRES (CABA) -Karen behavior is extremely rude and disliked here. -Mustaches aren't popular here...
Bad news for Usonians who want to migrate to Argentina. Gun ownership is heavily regulated. There are practically no MacDonalds. Pedestrians have right of way at all corners. The good news is: Health care is public and free. So is education. Even university education (if you are a resident).
I'd like the author to post a follow up video after 6 months has passed, now that we know many of the answers to the posed questions: that Milei isn't akin Trump, for Trump is nationalist and Milei is not: it's foreign investment regime promises to those investing over 200 million USD a licence to exploint any natural resource (lithium, oil, coper-)for 30 years free of: royalties, taxes (below what local companies have to pay), retentions over exports, bringing the earnings to the country, obligations to buy local supplies or hire local manpower, nor limitation to import used equipment (locals are forbiden to do so), while entitled to all the clean water, gas, and electricity they may need, even at the expense of taking them out from our cities, and abiding ourselves to comply submitting voluntarily to international courts to fine and charge us for lost profits if we fail o provide the resources timely or if a future government changes the terms or the applying taxation laws (it's called an enclave economy, with only two other examples in the World: Angola and Niger). Milei failed to comply to many of its campaigns promises, incrased service prices, released all regulations, including medical services prices and terms, raising them to the highest brackets from First World standards while lowering our income, below poverty line for the population majority, whilst proving careless about poors' fate: for instance, there are food and supplies like blankets in stock from the previours government, devoted to welfare, that his governmet keeps refusing to distribute among the intended population, even against court orders to do it. By keeping the minimum income below poverty line, he's forcing middle class to deplete their savings in USD to pay basic services and meet ends (a move called "vacuum cleaner") to store dollars enabling him to artificialy claim no fiscal deficit, while still unable to solve the trade balance, he keep printing money and increasing the public debt, enabling carry trade by which public funds flee away from the country. Milei proves he's a scam, and all of his doing was foreseable by the opposition from before being elected. He was challenged about all of this during the presidential candidates public debate, explicity saying he'd do the exact opposite from his current doing. Recently he bragged of being a mole devoted to destroy the State from inside, and indeed, he's destroying the country. So being this foreseable, I appeal to this video author intellectual honesty to make a follow up, showing this video isn't just ideological propaganda.
