I know a lot of fans were unhappy, but I was really happy with how this season went. A team that lost its top centers and its pride with a demoralizing loss, bounces back with another winning season and a series win.
Poitras IMO would've been an important asset to the B's in the playoffs if he didn't get injured in the latter part of the season because he showed a lot of promise. He's gonna be a hell of a player once he gains traction as he gains experience.
Cant pretend this season wasn’t a massive success. Lost our top two centers and declared it a retool year. Wasn’t expected to make the playoffs at early projections

I love this team. if they played as good in the playoffs as they did in the regular season, we would have 25 Stanley Cup banners upstairs. The last 2 seasons were among the best ever. When these guys have the momentum I pity the other team. I will badly miss DeBrusk, Ullmark, Griz and Heinen this year. I will miss Jack Edwards even more. The team has started a new generation of Bruins hockey. None of us have any clue what this team will look like this year. Either it will be a masterpiece of a year, or a terrible year. I haven't been this anxious for a season ever.
