This is really disappointing that after so many people asked there is no clear instructions video to change the cup size of latte, cappuccino or flat white.
Mine doesn’t do this, I hold my finger on espresso and it just makes the normal size, with my finger still on the button it stops. The cappachino size is also tiny! Not even half a cup
You should put the milk jug on the machine and then click on for example latte macchiato I tried so many times, finnaly i could do it. they don’t show it on any of their videos 😪
I just want to re-post the following very helpful instructions about how to reprogram a button (e.g. Cappuccino). It was hidden under a question about plastic parts. It was by @ 2deparrish, who I wish worked for Nespresso 🙂 "..... I think the directions are to press and hold the button of the selected drink for each ingredient until the desired volume is reached, then release the button. So for cappuccino, press/hold the cappuccino button until it flashes to enter programming mode. When the milk begins to dispense, press and hold the same button until the correct amount of milk is dispensed, then release the button. When the coffee begins dispensing, press/hold the same (cappuccino) button until the desired amount of coffee is dispensed, then release the button."
Is it true that it is pod dependant? So you can’t change the volume for certain pods? That’s what suppose has told me but I can’t see it written anywhere.
I’ve tried over five times now I can’t change the coffee amount of the cafe latte button? It just goes make to default and I’ve followed the settings exactly as this video suggests?
Hi Kevin. We are happy to confirm you can still prepare a 14 oz. coffee with your machine. Your machine can either be reprogrammed to brew a larger coffee, or push additional water through the capsule using the top-off function. For a longer pour, brew your selection, then press and release the button to add water. Press and release again once the desired volume is poured. If you need additional assistance, please call us directly to speak with a machine expert. We are available 24/7 at 800-562-1465.

Yes, after soooo many tries i finnaly could. So you have to put the milk jug on the machine AND THEN start to click till desired coffee and milk. So keep your finger on for exp latte macchiato till desired milk and then tilt your finger to stop the milk and click again keep finger on it till desired coffee.

Hi there. I don’t fully understand the feature setting for when you say, “if the recipe includes other ingredients” as you say press the button again, but you show the Espresso button again. Let’s say I want a larger size cappuccino, so I choose the espresso first, and then want my milk level to be more, how would I set that setting as you guys don’t show how to get the desired milk level setting. For eg I hold espresso for more water and then press hot foam, but the size is not to my liking, can I hold espresso button to set what level I want and then hit foam to set to the level I want (depending on cup size) and then that would be the default every time?
@@cbhskazi I understood that if you want to reprogram the cappuccino recipe, you just need to press that button. Hold it 3 secs, and hold it until the desired quantity of milk is ok, then release. Then press it again and hold it until the quantity of coffee is ok. I've done this but I couldn't get to the the coffee quantity that I wanted, which was a larger one for my cappuccino. @nespresso any further help here would be highly appreciated. Thx!

Anita, the video is confusing, and sure, there are no other ingredients when it comes to coffee buttons. On the other hand, for the cappuccino row, the first ingredient is milk and the second is coffee. I wish you luck !! my machine does not keep the programming.
I think they are referring to milk drinks, where there would be coffee as well as milk volume to change. Unfortunately the demonstration was of a coffee-only drink.
exactly what I needed, thank you
