I did this to find out my sequoia must have some aftermarket headlight assembly… has an adapter and the led bulb has no heat sink… goes straight in with no twist just the clip holds it in… very low light output. That didn’t need the housing pulled. The brighter replacement bulbs we bought needed the housing pulled but they don’t end up fitting in the housing well…. Sheesh. Still very helpful video.
OEDRO no longer sells LED headlight upgrades, all they have are LED light bars. However, this video is still useful as it details how to remove the headlight assembly. Thanks! I suggest you test whatever LEDs you buy before disassembling the headlight. It would really suck if you installed the LEDs only to find they're defective. 🤪 Just unplug the halogen lamp and connect the LED to make sure it lights.
@@repairvehicle yes I clicked the link but I can't find the same one you used. I believe as the other commenter said it is not available anymore. Was there another brand that may be equal in reliability? Thanks for the video and reply. I'm subscribed
Oedro no longer makes them, I am using Boslla on one of my vehicle and using another brand on my Sequoia from headlight revolution, a lot more expensive than Boslla. If Boslla is not available on Amazon, Boslla website should have it.
You can upgrade high beam too. In general high beam is always good, it can be improved with LEDs. I don't drive with high beams and it's not worth at this time to invest in high beam.
Thanks for your effort, but It does not require you to take the whole headlight assembly apart to just insert an Led bulb. You can actually just untwist the bulb unplug it and insert the new led bulb without any tools whatsoever. What you showed is how to install a new headlight.
but how can he remove the bulb without unscrewing the whole headlight but when he wants to put a new one in he can’t just put it back the way it was taken out?
Oedro LEDs amzn.to/2YnThal
One of my sons and I were able to do this together thanks to your video!
I have lot more videos about tundra and sequoia on my channel. Thank you for commenting.
Couldn’t have done it without this video. Thanks for the tip.
I have a lot more videos on my channel for your vehicle
awesome fanless LED bulbs, just like factory. also, see video description for the light output comparison.
Great video! I’ll be doing this soon. I’m pretty nervous. Mainly because of headlight washers. Don’t want to damage them.
Take your time and study my video until you feel comfortable
@@repairvehicle I definitely will. I’ve already watched your video 2 times. So I think I’m going to do it tomorrow. I’ll let you know how it goes.

This is great advice!
Do you recommend any other brand that worked well
@@ryanv7195 , this brand works very well in low price range, under this video installation there is a link. ruclips.net/video/3R7UQqUapC8/видео.html

Thanks for the led installation and plastic precautions video 👍great
Job.
You are welcome
Toyota wants $1000 dollars to do this. I can buy the lights for about $30 and do it myself, thanks to your video. The plastic parts concern me.
Bruh, OEM halogens are better than cheap $30 leds
Thank you so much for the video, you save my butt, and made it so easy
You are welcome
I’m about to do mine. Was it tough to do? I know this video helped, but was it still a tough task?
No, it was not
I broke that plastic peace , corner long tabs under the headlight before I found this video. How should I replace that part ?
I will get back to you later, I need to watch my video.
you mean on the left side of the headlight next to the condenser?
this is great but what about the high beam?

@@repairvehicledo both the DRL and high beam use the same bulb?
No
How are these holdingup?
Very good so far. I will be purchasing for another vehicle.
repairvehicle looking to put these in my 2010 Tundra.
Excellent video. Thanks.
Thank you. I have more videos on my channel for this vehicle
will this not work on a 2007?
Tundra?
@@repairvehicle Yes it's the same generation as an 08 just wondering if something was different about the 07.
Yes it will work
very affordable LEDs bulbs.

Have you done without removing head light?
NO led bulb fits that tight space. That is why the headlight assembly needs to move a bit
but how can he remove the bulb without unscrewing the whole headlight but when he wants to put a new one in he can’t just put it back the way it was taken out?
Different sizes bro. The led was bigger
Good video Thanks
Thank you
Thanks but I installed my LED’s without take out the headlights, did it in 10 minutes
How did you install without taking out headlight? What brand of led?
@@repairvehicle I just take the 2 bolt out from the top make it a little loose, the LED’s are same length as oem. The brand is Lasfit
Thanks for the info. I will try next time.
You have headlights washers too?
@@repairvehicle yes I do 2016 platinum
