My Italian friends do a very light summer pasta salad too. It's Farfalle, fresh tomatos, fresth basil, black olives, pesto and a can of tuna. Very delicious and easy to make.

This looks awesome! I'm going to make this salad this weekend with the dried cheese tortalini in my pantry! I loved seeing you use the same food network bowl with lid that i use when sweating roasted peppers!

I make a wonderful tortellini pasta salad. One time my son was spending the night at a friend's house and his mom made pasta to go with the burgers she made. She asked my son if he liked it. He told her it was good but not as "yummy as my mom's"
You can really use any immersion blender but I believe I have the same as him and works great.. All Clad Immersion Blender from someplace like Williams Sonoma :)
