It’s so silly that people are rude in the comments when they like a book that you didn’t. Like...it’s all subjective...booktube is just about opinions so calm down haters
I guessed the plot twist to Lock Every Door about halfway through, but I think the author did a good job of sprinkling hints here and there. Like the author lady signing all the books with “your youthfulness gives me life” or something like that.
I love just listening to Noelle talking about her views passionately about everything, it's so soothing, I just play it sometimes in the background and it calms me down and makes me all fuzzy and hopeful and also excited
I read Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin this month and man did this one catch me off guard on how anxiety inducing it was. More than just creepy, also stressful dynamic between the main character and her husband. Definate gave me chills! Wonderful wrap up as always. 🕸😊🎃
i finally read misery this month because of ur constant recommendations and i think it actually was my favourite book of october!! definitely the scariest. i'm currently reading pet sematary which i'll probably finish tonight, very interested to see how it ends
On Lock Every Door: when I was reading it, I was telling my boyfriend about it - just the plot and my theories as I was reading. And the man straight up guessed "the why" in his first guess. He spoiled the book without having read the book!
So happy to see Noelle's channel growing! Started watching over the summer and you have quickly become my favourite youtuber, always brightens my day when you post. Keep up the great content!!!
The popsicle stick jokes are by far my favorite thing to look forward to every time there’s a new vid. Thank you for keeping me somewhat sane during a really rough time in my life 🖤
I’ve nearly read all of Kings books (I have about 7 left to go) every King fan has a King book they hate and several they don’t like 🤷♂️ the dude has like 70 books they can’t all be winners 😏
This month I read Perfume: A Story of a Murderer by Patrick Suskind and let me tell ya, if you like a mix of overly descriptive chem lab stuff and a fetish murderer that makes perfumes like I apparently do, I highly, hiighly recommend this. It was so wierd.
I relieved to see someone else that doesn't like Carrie, I'm a Stephen King superfan but this book didn't got me invested in the story and I know a lot of people think it's an Iconic book!
I read 5 books in October: Pet Sematary (Stephen King) - 4/4.5 stars The Sun and Her Flowers (Rupi Kaur) - 4 stars Horrid (Katrina Leno) - 4.5 stars Legendborn (Tracy Deonn) - 4 stars Home Before Dark (Riley Sager) - 5 stars Home Before Dark was my favorite followed by Horrid. I loved the plot twists from Home Before Dark and the story was awesome. Horrid gave me spooky supernatural vibes this month. Paired with some haunting classic music...I really enjoyed it.
The end of Lock Every Door shocked me!! My mouth flew open. I’m still not quite sure how I feel about it but I definitely have to give Riley Sager props for it!
I actually agree with your take on Carrie. I think it's disheartening that people can't handle when someone doesn't like a certain book, I think it's like tea - just because you don't like super sweet tea doesn't mean the next person isn't going to like it either. It's definitely not my favorite King book I'm indifferent to it. But thank you for always being honest with us!
Mexican Gothic, I couldn't put it away, loooved loved, but the end, Idk.. not the best, but I gave 4/5 anyway because I've enjoyed soo much most of the time!
I enjoyed that it was sort of a love letter to classic gothic literature with a modern twist, but other than that I thought it was a very ok book. The ending was odd which is fine, but it didn’t stick the landing for me.
It seriously brightens my day when I have a new Noelle video to watch! I love hearing your take on different books.. and life in general. You're such a ball of fun and a breath of fresh air in these weird times we're living in. I read The Only Good Indians this month and I was really impressed by it! It's an indigenous horror story by an Own Voices author and I would LOVE to see you review it some day. Love how honest you are about your experience reading a book even if it is a King classic! Keep being your amazing self and I'll keep enjoying every last second of it that you share with us! Thanks for the awesome wrap up!
The secondary mystery not being solved in LED reminded me of the DEVASTATION of the *original* mystery not getting solved in tana french’s first Dublin murder squad book (I forget the name) and then thinking it’d be addressed in the next book in the series just to find out the main character shifts in every book????? You’re KILLING ME TANA
Love all your videos! Greetings from Greece. I finished Dolores Claiborne by Stephen King and just started mexican gothic by Sylvia Moreno Garcia. I loved Dolores Claiborne so much but mexican gothic does not exactly excite me, nothing to do with my favourite gothic books like Jane Eyre, wuthering heights and Frankenstein but i have to finish it to have a more specific point of view! Keep up the Good job, Noelle!
girl don’t worry about expressing your opinion! if people are saying things to you about “hurting their feelings” just because you thought a book was bad, they have much bigger issues and you shouldn’t be concerned with them. reading is for you and NO ONE ELSE
I read The Bloody Chamber. It's a collection of short stories, but man. The vocabulary is so rich. I actually found myself looking up word meanings. I really enjoyed the retelling of fairy tales and Angela Carter's take on them.
Read Pet Semetary again, my 4th time and stilllllll chills! And I’m thinking of ending things...wtf!!! Almost done with Mexican Gothic, no green wallpaper or mushrooms in my immediate future
My favourite thing I read this month was probably Red Dragon but I'm also reading American Pyscho right now (almost finished) and I think it's really fantastic!
I’m a scaredy cat but I read The Whisper Man because of your glowing review and OH MY GOSH I loved it!! Really great writing and a fun (sometimes terrifying) ride from beginning to end. Thanks for the rec!! 👻
Just found your channel and you feel like an old friend already. Probably helps that I've watched some moving vlogs and grad school vlogs. You do inspire!
I completely agree with your opinion on Carrie! I read it recently and it took me so long to finish! My faves are also Misery & The Shining, so look forward to seeing what other King books you recommend 😊
I read The Woman in White for my uni course, it's a classic 19th century novel (and I've actually decided to write my dissertation around the sensation genre, so I'm glad I did!!), and I was surprised at how the plot unfolded and how it has a nice mixture of leaving you in suspense but also letting you in on some liiiittle secrets throughout. Some good representation of strong women and issues around mental illness too!!
I just want to say THANK YOU for making such great content! I know that RUclips isn’t your full time job, but you still put so much effort and positivity into you videos and I really appreciate it! ❤️
I actually ordered the Troop like 2 hours ago because you and Kat made me so eager to read it now! My spooky reads were: - Salem's Lot (King) which was my favorite this month, this book had EVERYTHING - Rosemary's Baby (Levin) second fav - the Ghost of Canterville (Wilde) I had no idea it was a bunch of short stories but still good - Haunting of Hill House (Jackson) very atmospheric - Pretty Girls (Slaughter) blew me away! I'm actually pretty satisfied :)
October was a really good reading month for me - I read Shining for the first time and absolutely adored it, it was sooo creepy! I also read The Screaming Staircase by Jonathan Stroud which was just exceptional, that haunted house... * chef's kiss * Oh and I read a really interesting thriller called Ragdoll by Daniel Cole which was a weird mixture of hilarious and horrifying lol
Wasn’t too into Carrie when I read it either. Shame on anyone who hurt your feelings for expressing your own opinion. Keep up the great work! You’ve shown me so many great books this year. Thank you!
I think my favorite read in October was Six of Crows. Such a fun fantasy heist story! I read it for a class, but had been meaning to read some Bardugo for a few months already.
Your costume is incredible! So freakin on point! If We Were Villains was my favorite this month. I read both that and The Secret History and I just loved IWWV so much more.
I read my first Stephen King novel based on many of your videos. My favorite October read was definitely The Shining. I loved it so much. I have always been so afraid to read his books, but now I'm obsessed. I read seven of his books in October.
it's the robby patty and tommy holly for me
“I read some really good books and some really disappointing books *under breath* c a r r i e”
Read this as she said it 😂x
If you read the book, you'll understand why😅
The popsicle stick jokes are incredible.
I love when RUclipsrs accidentally find their thing. It’s the best lol
Not noelle just casually lifting a sledgehammer. Love that
“Some really disappointing books...Carrie” sent me 😂
Noo I thought the punch line was going to be “send them to their tomb” 😭
It's still funny to me that some people take it personally when people don't like their favourite books
screw the Halloween candy, this upload is the only treat I need.
Wow. You are almost at 100k subscribers!! Great to see your channel grow.
Thank you so much!!! Seriously a dream come true 🥺
Such a character, my fave 😊
It’s so silly that people are rude in the comments when they like a book that you didn’t. Like...it’s all subjective...booktube is just about opinions so calm down haters
"some disappointing books
*carrie*"
I guessed the plot twist to Lock Every Door about halfway through, but I think the author did a good job of sprinkling hints here and there. Like the author lady signing all the books with “your youthfulness gives me life” or something like that.
HOLY SHIT.......I DID NOT GET THAT SIGNATURE UNTIL READING THIS. I hate it.
I love just listening to Noelle talking about her views passionately about everything, it's so soothing, I just play it sometimes in the background and it calms me down and makes me all fuzzy and hopeful and also excited
I feel you, I literally listen to her talking while i’m studying and I can’t explain it but it’s just so calming and motivating
My favourite read of this month was The Silent Patient. So good.
I read Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin this month and man did this one catch me off guard on how anxiety inducing it was. More than just creepy, also stressful dynamic between the main character and her husband. Definate gave me chills! Wonderful wrap up as always. 🕸😊🎃
Ira Levin is so good at causing anxiety. Stepford Wives was the same for me.
i’m currently reading it too! i’ve seen the movie so i guess i kind of know whats coming but so far so good
i listened to I'm thinking of ending things and I seriously can't stop thinking about it. It was incredible
i finally read misery this month because of ur constant recommendations and i think it actually was my favourite book of october!! definitely the scariest. i'm currently reading pet sematary which i'll probably finish tonight, very interested to see how it ends
I started this one and had to stop. So spooky! Will get back to it eventually.
Noelle your shelves are AMAZING 😍 plus we love to see the Annie Wilkes outfit on you 🔥

my fav from october was the shiningggg, what a masterpiece
Same! Now I feel a Stephen King binge coming on for me...
On Lock Every Door: when I was reading it, I was telling my boyfriend about it - just the plot and my theories as I was reading. And the man straight up guessed "the why" in his first guess. He spoiled the book without having read the book!
Hmmmm did noelle post yet? Let's check youtube.
And my Sunday has been made 😁
It's simple, really. Noelle posts a video, I drop everything and watch. 🧡
Same here. I am checking almost daily for the video.
So happy to see Noelle's channel growing! Started watching over the summer and you have quickly become my favourite youtuber, always brightens my day when you post. Keep up the great content!!!
The throw of the popsicle stick gets me every single time 😂

I read my first Stephen King book! I chose Misery after hearing you rave and it was amazing!!
Me too but had to stop...
Misery is my all time favorite King- surprised to hear you didn’t like Carrie though!
This month I read Perfume: A Story of a Murderer by Patrick Suskind and let me tell ya, if you like a mix of overly descriptive chem lab stuff and a fetish murderer that makes perfumes like I apparently do, I highly, hiighly recommend this. It was so wierd.
yes!! the perfume is reeeeeaaally good :)
@Sarah Senior please do, it's a gem
I read it for school a few years ago and LOVED it
@@lisaglaum8912 imagine a world where I could've read this book for school omg i wish
One of my favourite books! 💕📚
the best part of these videos is running to tell someone the joke and watch them watch me crack up
I legitimately spent 5 mins laughing at “robbie pattie and tommy holly” hahaha
That is EXACTLY how I felt about one by one. Thank you for putting that into words!

In the Dream House will be one of my top reads this year, for sure! It was a fantastic read
Is this a stand alone?
@@louisellefortier3555 Yep! It's her memoir
Just got it today. Can’t wait to read it.
my heart smiles every time you upload
carrie was actually one of the only king books i was really invested in! but everyone has their own tastes :)
I LOVE the new book tattoo! Fits so perfectly popping out during the wrap up!!
THANK YOU I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Mexican Gothic, I couldn't put it away, loooved loved, but the end, Idk.. not the best, but I gave 4/5 anyway because I've enjoyed soo much most of the time!
The ending was terrible. The book started soooo slow, then got interesting and the ending flopped. I gave it one ⭐️.
I gave it 3 stars. I found it kind of boring up until atleast half way through and then towards the end it got good. I didnt mind the ending.
I enjoyed that it was sort of a love letter to classic gothic literature with a modern twist, but other than that I thought it was a very ok book. The ending was odd which is fine, but it didn’t stick the landing for me.
Perfect start to my morning, noelle and coffee

I'd just finished reading Misery before watching this video when you said ''I'm dressed as Annie Wilkes''
I agree 100% with your opinion on Carrie it felt like it was just bits and bobs of the same story
I listened to David Spade's "Almost Interesting" based on your suggestion -- HILARIOUS! Audio book is def the way to go with that book.
So good right!!
Noelle laughing at her own jokes is top tier *chef’s kiss*
Watching your channel growing so fast makes me feel like a proud sister 🥺
Pet Sematary was an amazing read for me this month, but Smoke Gets In Your Eyes actually kept me up at night
Omg! That kid in Troop you,re talking about gave me nightmares. Definately worse than the worms.
