That one part after the second verse... It made the song feel like it was not just about the characters of the show getting past the deaths of Phyrra and Penny, but the crew and the rest of Roster Teeth getting past the death of Monty. There are layers upon layers of feels in this song. It might be my favorite intro yet in the series.
I know how that feels. I lost my older brother and there were so many times I wished he could still be here. I don't always know how to live on without him but in the end all I can do is live. Same for your friends. They'd want you to live, to achieve your dreams, and try to be happy. I really appreciate this song helping me focus on such a simple task. Living and trying to enjoy it. But we have to try for them and ourselves.
This is absolutely about Monty. And this is definitely my new favourite intro song. Not only is it kickass, but it has so much meaning behind it, and it has such a positive message.
Oh for whatever reason I thought about human Salem when I looked at Goodwitch. I think they are similar and I actually realized Goodwitch is the 2nd good character we meet in the show yet she is still irrelevant. Hopefully, there is something more to her and the fable she comes from(Many characters are mashups or remade legends like king Arthur, Achilles, red riding hood etc.)
Dawid Potęga Yeah she's Gylnda the Good Witch from Wizard of Oz. Everyone close to Ozpin is based off of that. Honestly considering she was Ozpin's right hand woman I figured she'd take on a big part like Qrow and Ironwood but I suppose right now in the story she's taking care of Beacon, I mean with Oz "gone" she would be next in line to take charge. I think we even she her at the end of Volume 3 fixing stuff but honestly I would love to see her in the show again and fighting, from what little we've seen she's quite the badass
Dawid Potęga Oh for real? I had no idea. But couldn't they get a new VA like with Qrow? Idk she has a pretty OP semblance and seems like really good fighter, I think it'd be a real missed opportunity if we never get to see her fight all out atleast once.
