Imma be real with you Chief, if I could play SPV3 I would. But if I heard even 1 note of this I would crap my spine out.

This is _the_ Flood theme to me. And yet it never appears again after Halo 1. So strange.
Dread intrusion sort o has similar sounds, just slower paced.
Nah, this is a more "you can't win" than creepy.
Theres a theory that the change in the sound track represents the different stages of the flood

The original was terrifying enough, this is just a whole new level.

Exactly in the new Halo game we should have like one or two new variants so when you look at them you just go oh hell no I'm not fighting this but you have to I'm not saying that the Halo franchise has to be a horror game when it comes to the flood I'm just saying like it would be awesome if they could just be a little bit scary

The eye looking out from the helmet is just terrifying to look at for me. Like the person that was once there is still looking through that parasite infected brain.

You hear a public transport bus on the street next to you. When it passes by, you notice some isn't quite right. The windows are covered in something but you couldn't quite see it as the bus speeds off well past the speed limit, it suddenly looses control and crashes. What comes out of the broken bus windows aren't shaped like humans. _This song plays in your head_

I’ve gotta say, this whole soundtrack is beyond impressive! When I listened to the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary soundtrack (Which I love.) take on the Flood theme, it felt too “action.” It didn’t have that same level of horror. This on the other hand manages to keep that horror while also being just as chilling. This soundtrack is absolutely incredible!

The last mission of SPV3.3 the MAW you guys honestly captured that dead space feeling really well I was shaken by the new rooms and the lights being out but seeing those bodies at the end it made me feel cold and disturbed.
One: This remake is awesome at recreating the terror of first meeting the flood.
Two: That interpretation of an infected ODST is disgustingly terrifying.
The flood is by far my favourite type of infection, much scarier than any zombie in fiction, and this track makes them sound like the frightening parasite they are.
And hilariously to the flood we are nothing but food to be consumed.
The flood are truly terrifying and yet i still have like the flood (somehow)
Seriously look up anything that is The Flood vs [insert fictional parasite here] and The Flood is worse more often than not.
What truly makes them terrifying is their greatest strength: They learn.

Man this is the closest halo ever got to new content/music that was inspired by the original and not alienated
I don't suppose there's any extended version of this song? My D&D group is going to be fleeing a dungeon as it fills with an unending amount of Swarm enemies and this is the perfect combination of stressful and combat, perfectly encapsulating the futility of combating an enemy that is neverending.

This version is so beastial and raw that it captures the panic of the unending torrent Flood funneling towards the player. Awesome.
Just imagine hearing this in Halo Infinite. Wish you were doing the music for 343i. You really capture a perfect quality that recent Halo soundtracks have been lacking. Making the music sound familiar, yet also new at the same time.
343i Needs to hire you! I remember first time I played this level and hearing this remake. I was brought back to the original horror of the flood...

Not to say I don't enjoy it but a little critique I have to point out is, it seems a little too epic for a scary soundtrack, may just be me but the drums for example, it's cool, but if i were trying to be scared through ambiance I don't know if this'd do the trick, then again maybe you just weren't going for that in the first place in which case it sounds awesome.
Ye the flood in spv3 lost all of the spooky factor imo so I went for more chaotic vibe instead of spooky
