I love that Eileen only had her family in her court instead of having her friends she may not remember in the future. With her doing that it made me realize that I should do that as well so when I look back it’s more special.

Man I'm in no way from the Latino community (I'm African American) but I wish I had a family like Eileen's and a awesome tradition like a Quincé .....but my family is mostly scattered and corrupted. I'm glad other people like Eileen can have these things....it's nice to see.😊
For me as well. My family was a hot mess of treachery and nastiness. I’m just in awe at the love and relaxed acceptance of all the family members. When we never had a childhood, adolescence, early adulthood because it was expropriated from us by our messed up mommy-dearest, they have stolen that which can never be restored.
The finest Legacy IMO we can leave our kids, grandkids, greatgrands and generations yet to be born coming from this is to conduct ourselves in a manner that is a complete repudiation of the dynamics of our family of origin. Best wishes, {{{Ms. Marshall.}}} You’re not alone.

I grew up in a family where I’m not close to my mom and dad at all, so watching these helps me see how you’re supposed to be treated and respected by your parents! it helps me learn how to have a functional family and positivity in the future
I noticed that the scene where they were putting the lipstick on Eileen is in the Indoor swam meet!

This is one of my favorite episodes! The aspect of family and level headedness of this girl is was amazing to see. There were 2 years of my life from 21-23 that I didn’t appreciate my family over someone that hurt me so bad. When I needed them, I called them and they came running. Today, I’ll leave my mom and dads and I miss them and cry. I’m 29 now lol

I wish I can have a quince but my dads Mexican and my mom is white so my family says I can’t have a quince cause I’m not Mexican enough :( so I’m kind of upset about it!
It doesn’t matter.. Mexican or not Mexican anyone and everyone should be capable to have one regardless. There was a full white girl , no Hispanic ethnicity in her family at all .. she had a Mexico themed 15 and I loved it , all of her friends loved it n the family ended up loving it in the end also.
