So, wouldn't it be better to use another product with less surface tension like Glaze medium to do the glazing? Water will always tend to pull itself together forming drops or gluing to niches... I understand the very light way you apply prevents this problem, but that then requires you to do all these multiple coats... Wouldn't a glazing medium allow you to accomplish the same in fewer passes? Thanks
This is showing you how to use the P3 paints and methods that Privateer prefer to paint with. There's no stopping you using glazing medium but for those who don't have it, this is another option.
Reds and yellows need far more glazing / highlight layers, because they're intrinsically so translucent. Blues (for example) wouldn't need anywhere near that number.
One of the best tutorial about painting on RUclips! Congrats man!
This is how every tutorial should be done, great camera angle, and instructions. Will be looking forward to more from Dallas in the future!

I was hoping you did this style of painting on that Menoth model you did a while back.

Fantastic tutorial

I find the two brush technique to be rather hard to master. Any tips or tricks to help make it easier?
Don't let either brush dry up, plus a lot of practise and you'll get there.
Brilliant.
