What are your thoughts about Diddy? Did you believe Cassie BEFORE the footage came out? What are your thoughts after seeing the assault video?
SIDE NOTE: All the research I found stated her mom is Black, Mexican & West Indian. Her dad is Filipino. But I'm not sure if she identifies herself as a black woman.
If you're coming here just to leave comments about her race, please be reminded there's more important issues here than just that part
All I can say is thank you so much for speaking up and standing up for black women . These conversations are long overdue in the black community.
.
It’s really time for us to stop playing around on these important topics and face the music and the hard work , by holding men like this accountable so we can break these awful generational patterns that exist in the black community.
@@Optimistic-369 You're so welcome🙏🏾
I'm going to speak up for the "underdog" every single time until change happens
I was appalled and I gasped as well. It's not that I didn't believe her, I think we become numb to it after a while unfortunately and shame on us.
I will be deleting all of his music from my playlist just like I did with R. Kelly.
@@latikasmith5558 Good for you! Thank you for watching and commenting. We gotta stand for something🙌🏾🎉
Honestly, down thru the years I never thought that much about Diddy. Never got into his accomplishments or his career achievements- as strange as that is.
So last year when this stuff came out about Cassie, then I began to learn so much about him and his history. And I have to say, I was thoroughly disgusted.
As for Cassie, after learning about all the collaborative testimonials from so many people who worked with Diddy in close proximity and compared that to Cassie's testimony in that civil suit, I concluded that she was telling the truth.
Especially when I compared her character to Diddy's.
This video, on its own merits, all by itself, will not get Diddy convicted.
HOWEVER, it does reveal criminal behavior from Diddy.
Any lawyer will tell you that what you see, besides abuse, is kidnapping or criminal restraint
(at least twice he restrained her from leaving and dragged back away from the exits, from calling for help). That is at least a misdemeanor or a felony.
This video does more than add further ruin to his reputation, ot further isolates him as more and more people see him for who he truly is- he is rapidly losing more allies and supporters.
His own company Revolt came out with a statement condemning his actions.
I believe that this video is just part of a mountain of evidence being compiled towards opening up a criminal case against him for federal crimes.
Federal crimes which cancells out that NDA between him and Cassie. And where Cassie will have her day in court as the star witness.
And if you know ANYTHING about the powerful legal muscle that is working with her in Southern New York, you will draw similar conclusions.
Not holding men accountable in our community for violence, abuse, crime, etc …famous or not has a negative effect on our community overall . We have to stop coddling adult men who are supposed to be protectors and not problem causers .
Say that‼️ This is accurate. I love the "famous or not" part.
Thanks for watching and commenting🎉
All this happened because of our no snitch culture. He did it before. He was never stopped because no one snitched. How many more people had to be victims because of no snitching.
How many more under aged women did R. Kelly mess with because no one wanted to snitch?
This dirt is being done in the open and these people are sure no one would snitch on them.
You are absolutely correct! "Snitches get stitches" is a real thing. As I mentioned at the end of my video, I think we will see more women come out with stories. AND we will see other men of power get exposed who been doing the same thing😳
Thank you for this video. Cassie's husband posted yesterday. I'm happy she has someone in her corner to protect her finally.
You're so welcome. Thank you for watching and commenting. It seems like her husband is EXACTLY what she needs💕
I SUPER appreciate you talking about vicarious trauma! 👏
You're so welcome! Thank you for taking time to watch and comment. I hope you'll consider subscribing🎉
It is so heartbreaking how much Black women acquiesce to internalized racism and sexism. I immediately believed Cassie. Diddy comes from the generation that constantly reaffirmed hyper- masculinity, and so many toxic ways it was no doubt in my mind she was a victim of his terror. There’s something sinister & sick with a person that they feel entitled permission to treat someone else like this, and the voyeurism of it all is so painful and humiliating. What does it say about us as a society that people are still trying to justify or pretend this didn’t exist. This is White supremacy at its finest.
Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts on this! Terror is definitely the proper word‼️
Is there a place better than under the jail where we can place men who abuse women and treat them like this??
.
By the way Hollywood is full of these types of incidents and stories. I hope Cassie’s story will give these women the courage to speak up.
.
We need to put more effort , more innovative, more conversations, programs and laws in place to protect Black Women . Because these types of hideous behaviors towards black women need to stop.
Hell is the place underneath the jail lol. The entertainment industry is full of shenanigans. Yes, more things need to be done to protect.
Thanks for watching and commenting boo💕
It took me back to my days of abuse.
I'm so sorry if this was triggering for you😫💔
I just want to say I think we all can get over celebrity culture. I enjoy watching random people in RUclips shorts and videos than production quality celebrity backed productions. You feel genuine joy just watching real people creating funny and uplifting content. You don't leave watching them thinking I want to be them. You are just entertained.
Now we live in a world where we have to continue to find excuses to separate our favorite art form the "evil" people who created it.
How much art do we have to separate from the creators now? R. Kelly songs, P. Diddy songs. Keven Spacey movies, Harvey Weinstein productions, and etc.
I hope some of this is breaking the hold celebrity culture has on us.
They are so far removed from us. They don't believe they have the same consequences we do. They don't live in the same world we live in. They shouldn't be anyone's idol.
Wheeewwww! You didn't miss. You said this soooo beautifully and I agree. Thank you so much for watching and commenting🎉
Well said!!
A part of her money will probably be used to get therapy for her trauma and nightmares. She was also a recovering substance abuser from how he fueled her addiction. Her life will never be the same. Cassie has become the lighthouse for others who have experienced this kind of trauma. It will encourage them to speak out. #unbreakthesilence
I completely agree! She seems to be doing well with her husband and baby though
Appreciate your insight. Just a little correction Cassie isn’t a black woman, she’s mixed but mainly of Filipino descent.
Thank you for watching! All the research I found stated her mom is Black, Mexican & West Indian. Her dad is Filipino. But you are right, I'm not sure she identifies herself as a black woman
Diddy is hardly ever alone. He has body guards, assistants, all kinds of staff. I can’t even imagine what they witnessed.
That is very true! I'm sure they witnessed alot but they also chose not to speak up/or was paid enough money to be silent 🤔
Some of the body guards are releasing the stories. They have released stories already that some of the stuff that happened to Cassie happened to Kim Porter.
It is just no one chooses to believe without visual confirmation because they like All About the Benjamins or some other hit song.
@@semi6544 Wow! I believe it. I can guarantee a documentary will be coming out VERY soon on all of this
Exactly
Can you imagine what Kim Porter went through that may have led to her subsequent death?!?
I'm feel so bad that she has to relive all this just to get justice
It really is heartbreaking! 💔
I believed her. My great grandmother still hade nightmares in her 90s from my great grandfather beating her. She divorced him in her 30s. The terror stays in your body for the rest of your life.
I'm so sorry your great grandmother had to experience that. You are correct! There's a great book called "The Body Keeps Score" that echoes your point
I believed her! If you’ve ever been in an abusive relationship, you know!!!
Thank you for saying this!💕
Sidebar: your blazer reminds me of the cover of Glendon Doyle’s book Untamed 😍
Never heard of that person or that book lol. But I just looked it up and yep! It's almost identical🤣
This was unacceptable!! I appreciate you insight on this issue ! Cassie was brave to talk about it
Completely unacceptable! She's soooo brave and she deserves peace
and a somewhat comparison, i hate that Nicole Simpson and the Goldman family had to relive their trauma when OJ died!
Great points! Side note, I'll be a part of a documentary that's airing on Tubi about OJ next week😳
I personally believed it from the beginning, it settled to fast and it’s one of those things if people have been saying it for years it’s true. The video was horrible and I haven’t watched the full thing. I feel for her if she couldn’t get away from him if she tried
Trust me, you don't need to watch it at all. I feel so badly for her. I worked at a law firm for 7 years b4 being a therapist so I already knew what was going down when they settled quickly
All great points by Cassie ain’t black and the lawsuit amount was not disclosed.
Thank you for watching! All the research I found stated her mom is Black, Mexican & West Indian. Her dad is Filipino. But you are right, I'm not sure she identifies herself as a black woman.
Also, I believe the amount she was requesting was disclosed (around 40 million) but not what she finally received. But I could be wrong🤷🏾♀️
The apology is just damage control. He’s not sorry he did it. He’s sorry he got caught and is being dragged. He will not be held to account (charges, etc) I’m sad that Kim probably went through this too. But the narrative that the only reason there is outrage is because she’s light skinned is sad. Because Kim had kids with this man and this might have been your life. 😢
I hope we and pray we hold him fully accountable 🤞🏾🙏🏾
I haven't heard the narrative that ppl are outraged because she's light-skinned. Ppl are sick!
I heard that Kim was threatening to tell everything right b4 she passed. Things that make you go hmmmmm🤔
@@KiaundraJackson well to be fair, this was Dr. Umar talking about it. He posted something to the tune of “ if she were dark skinned would there be outrage?” And Yes! He’s disgusting and the way he treats people is disgusting.
I want you to speak about all these Black men, wealthy and well-paid, defecting.
That causes for a different and longer video for sure! I would love to hear your thoughts tho.
