- Aston Martin is taking the DBX to a new level with the 707! This will compete directly with the Lamborghini Urus, Audi RSQ8 & Mercedes AMG GLE 63. On the outside you will find optional forged wheels, massive Brembo Brakes and extra aero.On the inside you will be greeted by a full custom leather interior. Under the hood is a 4.0L twin-turbo pumping out almost 700 HP! Is the 2023 Aston Martin DBX 707 the new KING of performance luxury SUVs?

the two happiest or best days of an Aston Martin owner's life are the day they buy one and the day they sell it. Reliability and the cost of the maintenance are insane. Bought a 2017 db11 and at the end it cost me a fortune to keep it running not to even mention the depreciation (over $120K in less than 5 years). Last year I traded it for a Portofino and so far so good. I still believe that Aston Martin has a meaner facade and body design but when it comes to performance and reliability Ferrari hands down wins the competition.

You can always tell how expensive a vehicle is going to be by the way Joe describes how we would ask him the price lol. Example: “I know you’re saying to yourself Joe, I just got a job at McDonald’s and I need a daily driver, how much is this Toyota Corolla?” Or “I know you’re saying to yourself Joe, I’m running a multi million dollar Ponzi scheme and I want to look fly before I get caught and go to prison, how much is this Aston Martin?”

I absolutely love this SUV. This has been my dream truck since it came out. The regular DBX was everything when it hit. But once this 707 was introduced, I've been in love with it ever since. Thanks for the video Joe. It definitely gives me a major perspective of what it's truly capable of. Great video by Lori also. I would take this the way it is spec.

Should note that the 707 gets the Mercedes “Speedshift” 9G-Tronic MCT transmission with a wet multiplate clutch pack instead of a conventional torque converter like the standard DBX has. Probably one of the fastest shifting automatics I have ever driven.
Where the 707 really shines compared to the other super fast SUVs like Urus, Cayenne Turbo GT, etc is how hard it pulls even at speeds above 100. Really defies physics.

Always loved these because of the rarity and looks. Aston's always looked different from everything else, but I'm surprised they gave it last generation Mercedes interface screen.

How does it compare to my favourite Performance SUV the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quatrofoglio at 1/3 the price ? The timeless looks of the Stelvio still wins in my eyes and the styling of this Aston Martin has cool looks but I don’t think it will age well, especially the rear.
As a new Dad, this is my dream SUV. If I were still single and lived with my parents in their basement and never had kids...I still wouldn't be able to afford it.
But, my god, is this thing FAST.

Joe - Aston makes some of the most beautiful cars on Earth. No question about it. But it also has an identity crisis with all the parts it gets from Mercedes. Especially when it comes to the infotainment system that are one generation older than what Mercedes uses in their current models.

No. The chassis is unique to the DBX.

Wow, Aston Martin nailed with the beautiful design it looks stunning!!😃 Fully electric power seats and 3 memory seats for both the driver and the passenger. And I love the neon stitching and the 9 speed automatic transmission shifts so quickly.
I've watched so many videos of this gorgeous beast but this is the first time I've noticed (or anyone's illustrated rather) that when preparing to take off, the rear suspension lowers like a cat preparing to pounce; the SUV equivalent of that butt-wiggle they do lol. I'm so in love with this SUV. One thing I'd like to see standard across all car review videos is for the reviewer to include his height in their introduction, so we get a better reference of scale since the viewers are watching on a screen. He does so when spec-ing the interior. This is also the most in-depth explanation of the arrow of this vehicle that I've seen. I've never seen any of his videos before, I like it! He did miss a feature on the center console though. He complained that there was no cover for the cup holders. The center console armrest is independently adjustable for passenger and driver, which is why it's split up the middle. You can move them forward or back to adjust to your armrest preference and to cover or expose the cupholders.
I still prefer the new Subaru Ascent Touring Joe and it has plenty of power and luxury without the big price.

While it doesn't handle good compared to coupes it'll hold the road more stable on the autobahn at 190 than any hellcats even with widebody versions because Aston martin will eat the bumps on the autobahn and remain stable but hellcats might get unsettled over bumps on the autobahn and u risk oversteer in the hellcat but while in the Aston u sail at 190 with no problem cuz its engineered to be good on bumps at max speed
