BABYMONSTER is a Korean new group from YG Entertainment, they debuted on November 27 with the single BATTER UP. BABYMONSTER are in the same company as BLACKPINK. Many call them the little sisters of Blackpink
You're watching a first "official" or debut video of a new kpop group. They were developed in a long process of training by an agency that has been around awhile. Their "older sisters" are Blackpink, the current biggest girlgroup in the world. This video is very much in the style of that agency (YG Entertainment). These young performers are 14-21 in age, and so this is an age-appropriate concept, but they are showcasing a massive level of talent and developed skills. Some of these girls/young women have put in several years of dedicated training to get to this level of professionalism.
There are what is known as the "big three" production companies in Korea. YG Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, and SM Entertainment. There are many more but Hybe produces the most popular male group known as BTS. YGE produces the most popular girl group known as Blackpink. Blackpink debuted in 2016 are grew to become a global phenomenon breaking record after record over the past 7 years and has 92.3 million subscribers on RUclips. Very impressive. Babymonster is also produced by YGE with hopes of becoming as popular globally as Blackpink is. Babymonster's "Batter Up" already broke the record for the most views on RUclips in a 24 hour period, previously held by Aespa of SM Entertainment, with over 22.6 million views and is currently showing just under 70 million views in under 9 days. Further, they topped the Itunes and Spotify global charts as well. Not a bad start thus far. Babymonster is made up of 7 members however, one member was unable to debut for health reasons but will join the group when she is healthy enough. In order of vocal appearance... Rami, 16 from Korea; Rora, 15 from Korea; Pharita, 18, from Thailand; Chiquita, 14 from Thailand; 1st rapper is Ruka, 21 from Japan; 2nd rapper is Asa, 17, from Japan; member unable to debut is Ahyeon, 16 form Korea. All 7 are extremely talented in vocals, rap and dance. Check out their channel for more covers and content. I know this is lengthy but I hope it was helpful. Bob
Thanks for the reaction i love it. Waiting for another kpop reactions, You can reaction to blackpink, straykids, ateez and seventeen they're perfect❤️❤️ur fan from Egypt🇪🇬
Aigh, you guys just got me as your new subscriber and lemme pull out some instant facts about this group - They're indeed coming from YG Entertainment, which also a home company for the biggest girlgroup on our planet right now, none other than the honorable 4 powerful ladies from BLACKPINK - There's only 6 members in this video, because the 7th member (which is AHYEON) can't be involved during their whole debut activity due to a certain health problem, but you can always expect her to be appeared on future project - so far they only have 2 songs out, BATTER UP is their official debut track whilst DREAM is their pre-debut single - Aside from the 2 oldest members in the group (RUKA and PHARITA), the rest of other 5 members still remains underage - Not all of them a born Korean, because they're consisted of 3 Korean members (HARAM/RAMI, AHYEON and RUKA/LEE DA-IN), 2 Japanese (RUKA and ASA), 2 Thai members (CHIQUITA and PHARITA)
I also love it, but as a person who are listening to kpop for a couple of years this is mid and kinda simple or what we say a template from yg company who keeps it producing the same sound. But I still like it and will support them but I hope yg be more creative for them
