    The ambassador of Denmark said the Philippines should reduce red-tape if it wants to attract more foreign investors. told that the Philippines already has several anti-red tape and corruption laws but are not properly implement, he said " Some countries have shown that if you have political will you can do what it takes to combat corruption". and then added " Political will is more important than legislation".

      Denmark is monarchy, parliamentary system.. the problem is constitution is basis of morality, behavior, belief of people.. and why listen to other country they are major competitors of fdi.. of course they dont wnt competitors..

    • @LaDy-wn2ut
      @LaDy-wn2ut 5 месяцев назад +3

      That is why there should be amendments to give more strict punishments against red tape. The old cory constitution does not give heavier punishment to red tape perpetrators. #YEStoCharterChange
      How can political will be exercised outside the Law? Political will should be in line with Legislation therefore there must be charter change.

The problem is our leadership and politicians are clueless to what to do and how to really attract FDIs. I long for the day Maging NEDA chief si Mr. Cuunjieng.

    I hope Mr. Cuunjieng could discuss the reasons why Colgate, Firestone, Abbott, Eveready, Ajinomoto, Temic, etc. moved their factories out of the Philippines. It was during the time when China manufacturing was on the rise. Some moved their factories to Thailand. Might it be that geographically, Thailand is in a better location? Also can our ports handle the export of goods?

    would it be better and timely to review EPIRA as it failed to deliver its promises of more affordable and transparent pricing of power, I would rather build a subsidized nuclear power plant selling power at cost then attract manufacturing company to build around it, would it much be better? our lawmakers should realize by now that free market in energy is false hopes for about 23 yrs. since EPIRA passage.
