100% lol, I remember I hit 50's on slight incline DB for 5 about the same time I hit 120kg bench. No way your chest or triceps are capable of shifting the 50's for reps if you can't lockout a 90kg bench

I'm currently 32 and although at the moment my strength is still going up I've been worried for ages about it going down in my 30s as I've had older people in the gym tell me that once you get past 29 it slowly starts to drop. @@bigdogg5372 Well, I'm 50 and just hit a bench PR of 140kg this year at an 80kg body weight, so my strength has only been going up as I get older. I'm a LOT stronger than I was at 29, at least in bench. The only gear i've ever used is a wrist wrap and a protein shake, lol. So, no worries, you have a lot of prime lifting years left in you!
This makes me proper happy with my bench press progress. I personally have only just started properly programming bench presses into my routine for weight lifting. In 4 week Im now doing 105-110kg for singles to the chest. These guys are strong too! Puts things into perspective when you think your not progressing well sometimes 👍💯
Not being funny but at least 3 of them should be pushing 120kgs... I weigh less then them, work at my desk all day, turn 40 son and I bench 150kgs. Put me in a video as a sleeper bench presser as I don't look like I can bench big 💪
Within 4 months of training inthe gym for the first time in 7 years this year I went form 70kg starting weight now benching 140kg really need to me consistently doing i also been deadlifting 2 weeks now and I'm doing 220kg and ive never done it before I weight 120kg bw matt any advice to make my deadlifts better? And keep up the content and all the best

Sorry, but the guys numbers don't compute. I had a 130kg flat bench before I could use the 50's. The moves are not completely identical, but there is still a massive crossover in strength. Unless he has a power spotter of a gym partner who 'helps'. "All you bro" 😆

I don't have anyone to spot me at my gym, and I also train mainly for hypertrophy than strength, so I never look to try and get 1 rep maxes. But I do 3xsets of 10 at 60kg, what do you think my 1 rpm would be?

I've known a few people with similar situations mate. If you don't bench press there's not a complete carryover

Probably about 90kg
Since you mainly trained for hypertrophy I would estimate that something around 80 kg is your 1RM.
I can foresee an eating challenge for the boys next.
