      That’s very impressive mate, nicely done! Biggest thing with deadlifts is making your form as efficient as possible 👍

    Does the "Matty" guy train? He has some pretty good muscular development and just looks stronk, would probably be a beast if he stuck to a good diet and routine for a while.

    Sorry, but the guys numbers don't compute. I had a 130kg flat bench before I could use the 50's. The moves are not completely identical, but there is still a massive crossover in strength. Unless he has a power spotter of a gym partner who 'helps'. "All you bro" 😆

    • @MattDoesFitness
      @MattDoesFitness  2 года назад +1

      I've known a few people with similar situations mate. If you don't bench press there's not a complete carryover

    • @Dean_R1
      @Dean_R1 2 года назад

      @@MattDoesFitness but he does 'bench'. It's still chest, tri's, deltoids. Heavy DB's are way more difficult, as stabilisers are required. Suprising to see, unless he was talking lb and not kg.
      Anyway, great video as always mate 👊

    I don't have anyone to spot me at my gym, and I also train mainly for hypertrophy than strength, so I never look to try and get 1 rep maxes. But I do 3xsets of 10 at 60kg, what do you think my 1 rpm would be?

    • @bigdogg5372
      @bigdogg5372 2 года назад +2

      Probably about 90kg

    • @xDarkComedy
      @xDarkComedy 2 года назад

      Since you mainly trained for hypertrophy I would estimate that something around 80 kg is your 1RM.
