Hi Jamie! Honestly it’s been so long I can’t remember 😂 think I was generous with the reverb though, try cranking the treble to 3 o’clock, middle 12 o’clock and bass 10 o’clock!
Thanks so much for the comment Graham, cheers to that! Yeah I've taken my sweet time trying to develop them, I'm a slow learner but I'm getting there haha!
Ant!.....That's great! I really do believe I can get this down, and get it down good. Thanks a lot man. and the backing track as well. Backing track a tremendous help. I love this song, it's a tremendous rocker. Love Neil Young. Ever since CSNY.
@@AnthonyFernsGuitarTutorials Cheers Ant. I've got this one down already. Not one I've thought about learning before but it's a really good one to play.
@@steventhomas231 Great to hear Steven! You get so much out of this song with so little input, I'm really happy you're enjoying this one, those open chords really roar with the gain cranked!
Hi Craig, great to hear from you, very classic stuff today! I absolutely adore playing this one, you get so much from so little in this track, definitely one for the setlist!
Hey! Don't worry this ones an easy one to explain - so pushing the rhythm means to play the chord early or ahead of the beat, so you're changing the chord before the next bar of music begins. If we have 4 beats in a bar and we count them as 8th notes "1 and, 2 and, 3 and, 4 and" to push the rhythm would be to change the chord on the last "and" if that makes sense? 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 AND(chord change).
Hi Simon, great to hear from you hope you're well! You hit the nail on the head first time, I put all the key parts together before hand, and then did various takes and just chose the one I liked the best haha! Glad you're enjoying this one, couldn't be more perfect for a sunny Sunday!
Hi Luke! Well, you're off to a great start with your Stratocaster, I love mine. When it was time to get a new guitar I decided I wanted to get something with a different sound, and went for a Gibson es-335 (second hand) because it had humbuckers (and I had some student loan to spend haha). I had that for years and years, and last month I traded it in for a brand new Les Paul (the one i'm playing in this video) which is brilliant! I would say look for a different sound than your Strat, maybe start looking at epiphone casino's les pauls SGs etc and if you have more funds available have a look at what Gretsch, Gibson, Duesenburg have to offer (those were the 3 brands I was looking at). Best of luck in your journey to fid a new guitar, I would absolutely recommend getting out to a guitar store playing them to get an idea of which one feels best for you. I thought I was going to buy a Duesenburg guitar and walked away with a Les Paul so it's strange the difference actually playing the guitar makes!
Ant's Guitar Tutorials thanks for the great advice I will look into your suggestions and I was actually looking at the 335 myself but it is definitely out of my price range so am considering the epiphone version. Haven’t had a chance to play either of them yet though.

Hey there Ant. If you have a tiny moment....what do you mean by "pushing " the rhythm, you say that term twice? Thanks

I found this tutorial to be the best of them all. Thanks.. Who is singing the vocals on the backing track? Is that you ANT?
Hi Ant I hope you’re keeping well. Awesome solo, was it completely improvised or did you sit and compose it? Or a mixture of the two. Thanks
