Good stuff. I see so many similarities to Tai Chi Chuan and pushing hands. Very good connection and power generation with little movement. Keep up the great content!!!!
Hand sensitization is great and one should always know where the other player is and intuitively understand it better than that other player. Then no movement is a surprise based on the physics. Still though, the nonsense moves of using an elbow strike when that is a dead-end technique when countered, not releasing the hands when double-jutted and doing huens, allowing oneself to be turned off centerline, ignoring that lop sau teaches a proper response to being grabbed/pulled (lopped) and so much more. These expressions by the sifu show level of chi sau understanding to be intermediate. Beginner, advanced beginner, intermediate, advanced intermediate, advanced, super-advanced and master. That's when one is about like a black belt though with better science. Yet even then one is really just an advanced beginner. It's possible to own and control the imbibed physics to a level many times more advanced than so-called masters. I'm happy to prove this however only to sifus/masters and naturally my approach is to honor and respectfully/joyfully/safely illustrate through a meeting/demo. Not for me to play tough guy. It's a beautiful art/science. Most are at a very low level of attainment (duncan, francis, geez) though they "look" like they are great when beating their students. Again, feel free to prove me a "genius" as GM Moy Yat held or a fraud... I stand on the science and illustrate exactly what I'm saying. Again, to honor the time/info the offer for teaching sifus and "masters" only. And if you really want to see realtime application (outside kung fu) of the hand sensitization check the breakthrough results from the profile I'm signed in on. V/R to all!
This is a good spin on old drills (I like it!)👍
