    Izzo is one of a kind. I’ve never seen a head coach get choked up talking about alumni fans before. Enjoy him while we can.

    I had tickets for the Izzone alumni game and do every year. I live in California and always do my best to travel back for this special game. So jazzed to have tickets to see our Spartans on Feb 1 and Feb 4 when we play USC & UCLA! GO GREEN! Love you Tom Izzo and our Spartans! ❤

    I wonder what Izzo thinks of seeing 45-year old Izzone members. LOL. Those are like his babies all grown up.

    This team reminds me of the 90's Pistons, so many different quality players, just for fun:
    Fears = Isaiah
    Aikens = Dumars
    Jase = VInny Johnson
    Booker = John Salley
    Kohler = Bill Laimbeer
    Zappala = Mahorn
    Coen Carr = Rodman
    Cooper = Edwards

      And you're missing a couple players like Tre Holloman, Gehrig Normand, Kur Teng and Frankie Fidler. The team is loaded this year with depth. This is a true Izzo team and March should be exciting

    Felt bad for Washington man. Spartans mopped the floor.

      @@KyleTaylor-se9bp And they beat Maryland. Maryland is one of our coming road games. Have to be very optimistic with the way the schedule plays out and how good MSU has been so far in B1G play.

      They are much deeper. Cassius was great because he did so much. Just look at this game, Jaden scores 20 points, and we're talking about everyone but Aikens.

    I am usually brutal in my commentary about Fears and his play. Most of it is deserved, but I have one observation that I must, if I am honest, admit. Even though he dribbles way too much. Even though he makes bone headed plays when he is pressured. Even though he is no Cleves, but he thinks he is. The kid is a winner. The difference in the talent from this year and last year is not huge. The reason this team is gritty and wins is due to Fears and his attitude. Fears dwarfs Hoggard, even though his is his first full year of play, because he is a winner and the team feeds off him.

      @@RupyReacher I agree with your analysis. In fact, we've been missing this team attitude for a long time. You started to see Fear's have an effect on the players last year even as a freshman until he got shot. And he's not faking his attitude like you could tell Hoggard did. Many things to clean up but he will have a few more years anyways, love the kid and can't wait to see what he does going forward.
