Very interesting discussion. Most interesting point at the end, about Americans not knowing enough of their own history. I, for one, don't feel that I learned enough in school. I am an English teacher now, and I really have to force many of my students to think critically. I wish that I had a French education.

PS: Would LOVE to have a greater representation of French persons here, more bold? perhaps, for these important discussions regarding relative cultural emphasis and styles.
