Great review Pete, I’m BLOWN AWAY at the weight of these for an Enduro Spec, seems Hutchinson haven’t lost their smarts when designing power and grip Vs Weight..Looking good...
Good question Simon, I’ve looked at the Hutchinson website & they don’t specify a minimum inner rim width. I’m currently running DT Swiss EX511’s (which are 30mm), I really can’t see 5mm making much of a difference to the tyre shape. In short; I’m not sure.
Question for you. is 2.5 front is different in any way from 2.4 rear other than size? Like sidewall casing or compound? I am interested in running 2.5 front and rear.
G’day Mark. The tread pattern is a little different between them. The rear has more pronounced braking edges & the front has slotted knobs every second row for better steering. The compounds should be the same. I’d be interested to run a 2.5 on the rear the see the performance difference, but I doubt I’d have the clearance.
@@danielforward8218 I didn't buy them in the end, I chose a different ebike that came with DHF/DHR2 tyres. I have seen these Goodyear's on eBay for £20, seems like a really good deal. Might buy them next time I need tyres as maxxies are expensive!

Cheers man. Yeah, they’ve done some good work on the Ironbark trails 👍🏻
Will they work good on 25mm internal with rims?

Just bought 2.5 front
Play around with lower tyre pressures, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Yo Carlos, I think I accidentally deleted your comment, if you read this please post again. Would like to checkout that link you posted.
Okay if you’re on dry, dirt tracks, absolutely garbage if you’re in anything with mud, avoid this tire like the plague
