Depending on your difficulty, the LVL of your characters, your gear and if you don't skip every cutscene, the entire ending of Y7 will take about 1,5 - 3 hours.
i agree, i played japanese dub and i cried in the end hearing ichiban but then i watched english dub on youtube and it was good but i didnt feel any emotions

Ignoring the english vs japanese dub for a moment, can I just say the localization for the dub is a lot better than the sub. At least in these scenes. Not talking at all about the acting or performances, literally just how it’s translated to English. The way they chose to word things in the dub hits a lot harder tbh. I wonder if two different teams did it. (obviously this has nothing to do with the original japanese, specifically commenting on the translating here)
I think one more, but this time an actually serious crime drama. All the Yakuza games have the potential to be a very good movie, it's just the problem with that is movie adaptation of games don't work out sometimes, and the Yakuza games are almost like movies at this point, but tbh, Y0 would be the best one.

Thats too much plot twists, it sure made the plot look a lot more cheese. Aoki reaction says it all, they needed him dead and killed in a ridiculous and highly unlikely manner

Nah, Kiryu's story is over, he deserves a break. And after the secret boss fight in this game, Kiryu himself implies he's passing the torch to Ichiban.

This game deserves a change, previous Yakuza combat games where boring and exploitable. The series needs a new direction and I think the best will be to make it jrpg but instead of turn based make it like other Yakuza games and in between let us switch and fight with our 4 char, that's gonna be the best Yakuza combat evolution.
