Ragava's Kanjana was a hit. I am a Malayali and I enjoyed the movie a lot. The Casting of the movie and the story were good too and it was very nice to watch. Especially, the ghost scenes and the music all made a good impact, the songs were good and the story behind the soul was really nice. The Ghost was acted by another major actor Sarathkumar, that was super. But now Ragava's movies all are like a remake of Kanjana, with many cringe scenes. The worst thing is everything is played by him itself. Ragava is the main actor, ghost always took over Ragava's body, and the previous life of Ghost is also played by Ragava. It was Sarathkumar who was the Ghost in Kanjana, but now everything is played by Ragava. Repeating the same movie pattern again and again.🥵

I fell in love with Malayalam films since then for their pristine quality of cinema making. When Chandramukhi was released I was surprised that Rajini would take up that role because that’s not his genre. Then I realized it was remake of a remake(Aptamithra). The movie might be a hit and because of Rajini element it became popular to be copied in Bollywood as well but it was heart break and disappointment for anyone who watched the master piece original. Vadivelu jokes were a hit but some of them very cringy at that time itself. P Vasu took a fine wine and made a bootleg liquor out of it and put a Rajini brand sticker in the bottle. In Chandramukhi 2, without the Rajini brand sticker, now it is very clear about the stuff inside the bottle.
