Hey I’m a new rider only 3 weeks past my CBT and absolutely fallen in love with biking! Can be been thinking of starting a motovloging channel my self for a bit of fun and your channel gives me inspiration to do so :) Keep up the great content and ride safe.
Great vid, me and a mate have been talking about doing some fun vlogging when we go out on the weekends, was thinking of possibly making a weekly montage of riding into work too…..just an idea at this stage….anyway don’t let the haters knock your confidence 🫶🏻👍🏻
Very few, if any, riders start off on a Hayabusa, H2R or something the like, most start out the way you ladies did. Following your progression and experience allows us to relive those memories in a way. Example in this vid, like when you mentioned the smell, passing a building, it is one of the weird and wild things that sometimes you can smell where people have been or what they have done, when riding behind them, like smelling popcorn from cars that leave Rusden area (my assumption is that they left the cinema with it), can also smell when a car has recently had a valet, but so far the worst was following the garbage dump truck and I also recall a foul stench from a van used for vermin control, they were either very successful in their activities or never cleaned the inside. PS ou also have a wonderful way with words and you are well articulated: 'Noxie is a country girl now, get her some cowboy boots' -chuckles all round-
Haha agreed, the different smells are all part of the experience 😂 thanks for the compliment, when I'm editing I feel like my thoughts are all over the place but it's nice to know they're understandable in the finished video 😆
I do like a rambling countryside video. You do seem to be able to waffle along as if you're just chatting to a mate. I never judge peoples riding in videos, as obviously they made it home safe because the video gets uploaded. I like the point you made about, You don't learn until you start. Wise words for most things in life. Ride Safe.
Most recent videos are using my go pro max 360 on the windscreen, DJI osmo action 4 on helmet & purple panda mic (cardo packtalk neo used to record audio for duo videos). Helmet set-up video coming soon - probs later this week 😊
Honestly these road chippings are horrible, feel like im gonna slide all the time and the worst part is the things flying up onto the bike, actually horrible, can cause a lot of damage and scratches. This is the only country that do it this cheap way I hate it.
Definitely don't pay £400 for the go pro max 😂 it's good, but you can probably get a good quality go pro from marketplace which will get you started. I got the go pro max on sale and paid in installments
My channel is recording the turntables I own or fix just to document for me, and I use a iPhone 7 to record them. it makes me laugh when people moan about the quality and say "I'm not buying (expensive turntable) if it sounds like that" people are strange. I would not worry. I enjoy your videos they are fun, my daughter is going to be doing her CBT next month, if she enjoys it, I am sure she will start watching your channel, she is 22 so is closer to your age then I am. 😀 Random question, Does any one else get a bit nervous on really new shiny tarmac, because in my head it looks slippery?
I couldn't be bothered editing it and uploading every day / week LOL also Id have to find a way to hide my speedo lol not that I'm implying I speed I wouldn't dream of it
Negative comments. what I really hate is Narcissists, people who think they are always right and that nobody can do anything as well as them and if someone shows they are better at something the Narcissist will always criticise them and attempt to push them down to regain their imaginary crown. and what really agitates them is someone who doesn't even care that they exist. It's a really fun game to deliberately ignore them just to wind them up even more... and it just shows everyone else what that person is really like when they try even harder but get no reaction whatsoever! Just sit back and have a laugh at their attempts to belittle what you do. they won't fight with someone that never loses... so they will just have to move on to the next person! Doing two things at once. we all think... sorry, "Some of us" think nonstop about things other than what we are doing. some of us don't have those thoughts come out of our mouths, some of us can't stop those thought coming out of the mouth... some of us are somewhere in between. it doesn't mean anyone less focused... those thoughts are going to be there regardless of whether they are said or not! on Covering the front brake, I do it because people said, if they are already there... it is much quicker & more controlled than having to move the fingers to the lever & squeeze suddenly! The two fingers are pretty much always there now, but because I find it more comfortable, and I can use them to aid very fine throttle movements more than anything... I haven't had to do any emergency braking on the new bike yet, probably because it's so much faster, Bigger and heavier than the old thing, that I'm much more reserved with it & Riding more carefully. (but after just two weeks and 900km, I AM wanting more power, even if I don't use it all that often, the 26hp isn't enough for the 167kg V-strom 250 & 84kg rider (how I lost 9kg from riding alone and nothing else is beyond me) I'd say the second the Factory warrantee runs out in 50 weeks time, I'll be trading the 250 in on something with the license legal 47hp. If there's one thing I hate, its people who just let the foot off the brake and go slower than the minimum speed of the bike (10km/h in first at idle) It does seem the best thing to do while driving an automatic in heavy traffic, but I never realised how frustrating it is for a Motorcyclist! For those considering getting a Motorcycle, I personally spent a lot less than a motorcycle on a Chinese scooter/moped which doesn't require a Motorcycle license, just a drivers license. It was the cheapest way of testing the water, and the scooter hasn't really lost much Value, so the entire 6-month testing experience cost little more than the "on road" costs of the scooter, but I saved all of that back by using 1/2 the fuel of the car!
Its mad when people complain about a RUclips channel in their comments, there are literally millions of other videos to watch by just clicking off. QQ have you set up as self employed or a limited company for tax etc? I have a couple of channels (non-motorcycle) that have really picked up and might need to set up a business account soon.
I like the stream of consciousness style you guys have. I often play them while doing other things as they are fun without being over engaging. Carry on.
Honestly the rambling videos are my favourite because I watch them at work in the background
I do the same with R1Liz's internal monologue videos :)
These vids are the best on RUclips, fun as f, was out today with my bud and thought I should be blogging in Northern Ireland
nice vid
Thanks!
I'm here for the great banter👍 Keep up the great channel
Thanks! Will do!

Go for it!
Oh I intend too! Giving my self a few month to finish buying in the gear and you’ll see my little 125 in some vids :D

What helmet gear and cams are you using, please ?? The vlogs and the sound are always great. 👍👍👍

@TipToeBikers Thanks for the info. I haven't used anything before. Your gear is cool. Many thanks 👍👍

Agreed
I’ll buy a camera soon, any recommendations? (I’m not rich enough to afford a £400 camera 💀)

I've never been nervous about new tarmac before, but now it's going to be in the back of my mind 😂😂

Agreed on both points 😆 there's always a stream of thoughts (or several) going on, whether I voice them or not!

I'm self employed for work and already had an adsense account for that so just linked this channel to the same account :)

Thank you!
Elle, your content is always great.
Thanks!!
I'm unhappy I think you should be playing a cello while you're riding and talking and motorbikin 😂
Damn, need to step it up a notch with the multitasking 😂
