I love that satisfied smile at the end. Then, he just says “That’s it. One violin”.
There is nothing in this life more satisfying than creating.Beutiful piece. You should be very happy and proud.
A skilled craftsman, may God protect you. I wish I could have a violin made by you
I don't know why but I just love watching you making a superb violin amazing patience and skills
I love the fact that it's all done with hand tools.
7:56 seeing someone happy about it's own hard work is nice to see
That's not made from scratch that is professional work, and I appreciate your dedication to make one violin.
I don't think "made from scratch" means what you think it means.
@@Mikeological sorry! i am a dumb,i dont have capabilities to think much.
I'm not sure who gave this video thumbs down but this is an amazing talent to hand craft this instrument. My dad built one and the first song played on it was amazing grace. I get chills every time I hear that played.
Wow... Very first time in life seeing making of a violin 🎻...
One of the best videos I have found to share with my pupils about how a violin is made! Thank you!
I can't believe that beautiful piece of artwork was once an boring block of wood!
Excellent !! Thank you for sharing 👍
This is the only video I can watch from beginning to the end nowadays.
It's amazing to watch, the skill and focus required is absolutely awe inspiring.
Wonderful violen making.thanks.
Very cool... What would be nice was to hear the violin playing at the end...
averaje prıce for a hand made vıolane.
Wow
Just hearing the sound of the pizzicati gives you an Idea. It's a pretty good instrument that will develop a powerful and brillant sound with the time under gifted hands. At that time of its birth it would sound too "green"😉
Stunning craftsmanship
wow! woodcraft passion, delicate, patience dedication well done
I've built my own workshop, and I'm currently building my cabin. Piece a cake! I wouldn't have a clue how to build a violin. Really nice work! Only took you eight minutes to build one. Simply amazing!! Thank you for sharing your craftsmanship.
"Only took you eight minutes to make one"
I really hope that's a joke, I almost laughed at it xD
Congratulations Master!!!!
Nice work!!!
I loved it!!!
Nice job on the scroll, most envious wish I could make my own like that ! IM ENTRANCED!
Very enjoyable and inspiring to watch, reminding me of the violin I made in 1984 from Tasmanian timbers (belly from King Billy Pine.)
I want to hear it!!!!!!!!!! This was a great video! I loved it!
Beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing
This is breathtaking!!! Absolutely beautiful 😍
Fabulously skilled maker.

Nice touch having the Sibelius as the soundtrack.

That is such talent! Wow, it is handmade!! I really like it, nice job!
Youre learned so fast and perfectly, Genius !!!
Brought a sense of peace just watching it be made. Based on the plucking, the acoustics sound great but wished it could have been played with the bow.
I went and made one once in my shop. I figured if I can make an electric guitar why not a single pick up electric Violin with a wa wa bar worked out pretty kool. I thought it worked good. I even made a couple of dulcimer and electrified them they where do kool.
Wow
Beautiful to watch you apply your great skill. Please explain the "palm tacking". I'm assuming this was the traditional finishing method. You had to put at least a little blood in your finishing varnish. Lol! Exquisite craftsmanship. Thank you for the video.
Gracias a RUclips he visto lindos vídeos....
The part that impresses me the most is how he carves the scroll.
Beautiful
Sir you are genious,,,, exlent God bless you
Great work, May God Bless You .I have a friend not far from my house who is also a professional violin maker , one Mr Murali .

Que hermoso violín 🎻
Que hermoso trabajo
I would have loved to hear it play, nice work!
fabulous. work of art, congratulations !!!!!!
Masterpiece
Do you build violins without putting the sound post or soul?
Inside the box is the soul of the violin, which is a small cylindrical wooden bar arranged between the top and the harmonic table on the right side of the axis of symmetry of the box (that is: practically down, to the right, of the area where the bridge rests), on the opposite side to the web, along the inner face of the top, a strip called a harmonic bar is glued with glue. Both the soul and the harmonic bar fulfill two functions: to be structural supports (the violin undergoes a lot of structural stress) and to better transmit the sounds within the resonance box
I came here after watching Whisper of the Heart. Such a great animation ❤️
That moment when its all done and its journeys complete.
“Lets go again.”
Perfect!
Tks.for.your Vidio.making Violin..very nice..mr Alex..salam kenal..dari Surabaya Indonesia
Nice video. It is obvious that you love what you do. I love the Sibelius in the background.
Woww.. 😍😍😍👌👌
Trop beau. BRAVO
All that work to produce the visual beauty but that is just the beginning. When first bow strokes begin, that is both the revelation and the judgment how much the mechanical work achieved the sound. It can be devine, it can be a can.
There are two very basic: where is the instrument positioned overall between strong sound and the sound full of harmonics (soft). Second basic feature is the distribution of soft/strong between four strings of a violine.
There are other, but these two characteristics will determine the destiny and life of a violin.
It would be interesting to know, which I don't, how many violins have been discarded by prominent old masters in comparison how many they managed to produce of high quality.
If an old famous master produced 1500 violins during lifetime, and if he worked say 60 years, he made one instrument every two weeks. If he managed to obtain high percentage of high quality instruments, than surely he had some secrets that many other violin makers did not find.
Wow that is very nice
Fantastico! 👍👍
Wow amazing video nice violin.

When god created the world, surely this man gave him a hand.
OBRA DE ARTE. LINDO.
Yeaa.. very cool sir
I used to play the violin and always wanted an instrument that stood apart. If the colouring of the varnish doesn´t add to the quality of the sound, why are they all made so brown from new? Nostalgia? Beautiful craftmanship and a joy to watch though.
I think the brown-ish finish looks the best
Muy buen trabajo
Hermano
Saludos desde Mexico
Amazing!!!
Pure o magic
Nááádhera, perfect ☺
They are beautiful instruments. As a layman and not a woodworker, and probably because of some of the way this was filmed, but some of his handling of it seemed kind of rough to me. But obviously I know nothing of what it takes to make something like this.
So cool! I wish I could do things like this but don’t have the tools or expertise
I used to think that with making surfboards. I bought the tools and made some boards now I have both😀
Would love to have heard it being played
Maravilloso
Bravo
Amazing
fantastic
Woww... spettacolare...voglio anch'io diventare LIUTAIO...io abito vicino a Cremona ... ciao dall'Italia
*Bravo👍👍👍👍👍👍 I love violin*
Complimenti..bravo
Fabulous
Very cool 💖💖🎻
Knowing how much work goes into creating an instrument is why i feel physical pain seeing one broken or smashed
That's one of the reasons I don't respect musicians who make a spectacle of destroying instruments.
Even mass-produced electric guitars are made with meticulous care and hard work.
@Elaine Wood Or destroying instruments in general. What's the point? One could maybe sell the instrument, or give it away. The worst idea is to break and destroy the instrument on purpose.
Per, truly amazing work! It was nice to see you in the shop.
Rick
Good job👌👍
it is beautiful
Wunderbar!!!
Edited down to 8 minutes. The actual process probably took more than 250 hours. Violin making requires great skill, patience and knowledge.
This kinda be lookin like that scene in toy story where someone fixes woody
🤣🤣
😂🤣😂🤣
This is exactly what I thought
Watched the full video. 🥰💖😍😊
Sorry to say that from the thumbnail I thought you are making a sanitary pad.
