This was my father daughter dance song at my quinceñera last year, I loved growing up with the misfits and they'll forever be an important part of my life, and one of the greatest bands ever.
Great 50's vibe about this song; one of my personal favourites from the Misfits; excellent low tone vocal melodies. Loved how they were able to create a terrific down tempo song that still stayed in keeping with their other material.
Graves is great. Really as good as danzig. For the longest time I only listened to send it misfits and thought all others were inferior, onceni gave him a chance I saw the fly in my ways
The way Michael fills the first 23 seconds of this with little kid sobbing noises into a wonderful melody is honestly the most beautiful part of this whole song
long time ago i used to love him so much and i remember listening this song non stop and thinking this is never going to end, and here i am 15 years later...
The very first time I ever heard this song I thought of those 80's horror flicks based on the 50's and envisioned two zombies slowdancing at a sock hop
one of the greatest songs ever written! its basically a doo wop song with loud guitars and amazing vocals, and undeniable melody! always reminds me of my high school girlfriend!
This song takes me back to Afghanistan where it’s on my iPod playlist. Listened to this all the time after we get back from those life-draining patrols out in the mountains.
This song was dedicated to me and my friend Mary (the Nashville girls) by the Misfits and their crew at the Mobile, AL show last week...I've always loved this song and it was so awesome that the guys did this for us!
I most likely will. They don't make good music anymore. There's maybe a handful of bands that I can stand that came out since the 90s and none in the past decade
Never listened to this band in my life but this is phenomenal 😂 I love the blues jazzy pocket it has wow. Very unexpected! Learning for a band cover haha.
This is the most amazing love song ever... I love the sound just fitting in Dirty Dancing and the lyrics from ... well ... fill in your favorite psycho-killer movie :-D
This is what I play for any new misfits fan... Micheal Graves is were it’s at! With Danzig it was just traditional punk which was fine .. but once they picked up Graves it took them to a much better sounding band . The “ horror punk” sound was everything I loved .
Graves is the only other lead vocalist besides glenn who i will accept fronting the band. Glenn was perfect for the late 70s early 80s punk sound, graves was perfect for the late 90s post grunge, metal and skater punk era.
Yea they kicked him out because he was getting alot of fame and they wasnt as much as him. They were really jelouse of him. Imagine if he Graves was still in the band, imagine where they would have gone. I miss Graves in the band
I don't think the Danzig misfits sound anything like traditional punk...maybe we have adifferent idea of traditional punk though. I would consider the Ramones and the sex pistols as traditional sounding punk. The misfits with Danzig sounded nothing like that to me. Danzig may have been a dick at times but his lyrics and sound have not been replicated by any band I have heard...not even the misfits after Danzig.
ha, dude. so my bf of 5 years is named Kurt and last name starts with a B and I told him about how I wanna dance to this on our goth/pagan/Viking wedding. i am totally playing this on my wedding, and you should too. and if anyone doesn't like it, well they can kick rocks on their way out. 🖤
it's song about an unfaithful guy losing love. NOT MURDER. It symbolizes the rock star life of the 70's. A womanizing punk who partied loud. Murder is a pretty common metaphor used to symbolize killing a part of someone. Like murdering someone's heart. 52 is a famous number of sex positions so he's saying "there's 52 ways to fuck (over) anyone" sex, cheating, and losing his love are the central themes of this song. "1 and 2 are the same..." The first two sex positions are doggy...
It is a big mistake to bring together music and relationships, as the Doors said: "music is your only friend until the end". But relationships are not forever. I can relate xD
His way of writing is fine the way it is. He was successful, Are you? Many people understand what he is trying to put into the lyrics. That's what matters most.
I'm a diehard Danzig fan,so I wanted to hate the " new Misfits" and Michael Graves ,but the dude definitely had his own vibe that actually worked well with the direction it felt Jerry was going on the 2 later albums I love the story Graves shares about writing this track
That poor replay button.

I had this on repeat for nearly 2-3 hours last night

That's so cool your babygirl and you danced to this at her Quince!!!! Great band and such a cool story to share bro!
That's creepy
@@Atom-cl6bi No it isn't
I love how he just soulfully sings at the start then casually says "There's 52 ways to murders anyone". Brilliant lol
Great 50's vibe about this song; one of my personal favourites from the Misfits; excellent low tone vocal melodies. Loved how they were able to create a terrific down tempo song that still stayed in keeping with their other material.

Axel Tankian Cruz doo wop

Yea they wrote a splatter platter and it's awesome! Famous Monsters was a brilliant album.

Michale was amazing. I loved his era as frontman.
Danzig was revolutionary too. Different men different styles both amazing.
I thought Jerry Only sung those first ooowhoo notes.

This song takes me back to Afghanistan where it’s on my iPod playlist. Listened to this all the time after we get back from those life-draining patrols out in the mountains.
I heard some soldiers start doing H in afghanistan cause of the stress of the situation and its so prevalent. Is that bs or true?
@@Peasant_in_a_tree I didn’t know anyone who’s done it personally, BUT I have heard rumors myself.
I’m glad you got back home safely 🙏🏻
"running around and having a blast" has a different meaning now
lol
It's a classic 50s/60s teenage tragedy song with crunchy guitsrs. Absolute brilliance on Misfits' part being so culturally and self aware.
The coolest melancholic song
im 14, raised on punk and metal, i knew this song before the abc's, great parents
Anonymous Queen you’re truly blessed haha
Same dude ✊🏼
Listen to bad brains, then start listening to some old school reggae. All the OG punk rockers do!!!
I was raised on metal more per say but misfits Is my favorite band hands down
Next generation of punk and metal better be fuckin sick
Nobody gives a fuck, congratulations.

I’m glad to say I was raised on punk and my dad was a drummer
Been listening to this song since I was 14, still love it 20 years later
Horror punk is so fucking cool
Agreed
What a great tune. Makes me happy and sad at the same time lol
Sounds like Elvis Presley i love it :)))
This was uploaded on my birthday, my favorite from FM
Am I only one who thought this was originally talking about date but now when I watch lyrics I found out its about killing her
Sabe here bro
To be honest... I thought it was pretty clear. "Now I'm watching, watching, you DIIIIIE!!!!"
But, I understand why you thought that a little I guess.
Its not actually about killing someone the misfits write all of there songs in horrific metaphor the lyrics are not meant to be taken literally
ertud Harski ive loved this song since my first girlfriend got caught sleeping with some asshole
Close parenthesis, to a life known to see misfortune. If a hero response was required, change the record
Misfits Forever!!!!!! Love them 😍😍😍🤘🤘🤘

Never been a fan of Graves at all...
but I'll give credit where it is due and say that this is a really good song.
Yeah for me the "graves" era is a totally seperate band. Its great, but it aint no goddamn son of a bitch.

I hope myself can accept my apology for refusing to listen to Michael Graves Misfits. I've been missing out for over 20 years.
Con esta canción asocie la muerte para dejar partir en paz a mi madre. Pero siempre la llevo en mi corazon y mente.
Best Punk Rock Ever
i saw them a week before halloween a couple years back at toads place and it is still my favorite concert ive been to!
I had a very beautiful black cat who passed away last month. This somehow reminded me of him...
I’m so sorry about that my dog passed away at the beginning of this year too 😢
What a fantastic tune, well written!!!!!!!!!
He was so toxic and gave me even more trust issues, why do i still miss him..
Because he was a part of your life one way or another, you can’t help but miss him. I know how you feel and it sucks.
The fact that I would sing this at school when I was 7
This song rocks... Like saturday night... Who wasn't. Misfit🎅
I just realize that misifts change the key of the song at the second parte of the song (msifits is progresive punk :v)
