Amazing video I love ball pythons. I have a question I didn't know where else to ask. Other channels I have tried never responded to me. So I have this very little Argentine Tegu. Who is deathly terrified of me and I don't know what to do about. I can barely get up to change my socks without him running instantly to the other side of his enclosure. He absolutely freaks out. He's not bitey at all but he won't let me get anywhere near him. What do I do? Do I pick him up anyway? Regardless, thanks
Yea I had the same thing with channels, so when I started this one I said I would always respond to comments. The thing with tegus is they’re all different but eventually end up at the same goal. As a baby, if you’re reaching in from above they seem to be afraid of that. However they are super smart, and you’re just going to have to be patient that he will eventually look at you not as a threat. If you don’t get him out at least put your hand in, some say put a shirt in with them.
Or sit in a bathtub. Mine was cool until I put him in his new enclosure and then became a punk, so I just make him get out. For the most part after a second of trying to bite arm off he calms down lol
@@devinereptiles5275 Thanks so much. So, I actually have tried the shirt thing. I have yet to try the bath tub thing. The thing is it's a decent walk from my room and I wouldn't want him to squirm out before I get there I guess. I don't want to be too rough with him, you know? I've been told by some to just pick him up and hold him so he learns that he's not in danger but I'm skeptical on that.
Snakes are gorgeous! But I can't nope ! Hope your kids are all boys LOL. I thank God I have 3 grandboys which are teens they help me here at JEROME farm LOL . They love my iguana
She is one of the biggest ball pythons I’ve seen
Agreed. The owner was killed and some how the family found me and I took her in.
Ball pythons are fun and chill. But my hog island boa is just so fun crawling all over me and everything .

I have such mixed reviews and answers. Have you noticed any difference in a uvb for your balls.
