Well, I remembered that a long time ago there was the first leaked build of Wednesday's Infidelity Part 2, which had the songs "Last Day" and "Sunsets". These songs are also in the full version of the mod, but they have been changed quite a lot. So let's compare the old and new versions of these songs to see the differences between them.

I personally prefer the old version of Sunset, it's much more as a relief from the infidelity as mickey experienced, but the new Sunset is more upbeat but it's still good, also the cycle reference in new version is a good touch as well as hinting mickey's inevitable cycle of suffering, to summarize, both are perfect in their own way, there are no winners for this one
Edit: I found that it would be a good idea if Sunset used the old song, but the new sprite, yeah I did pay some attention to your replies, thanks y'all!

I know that “battered” is an accelerant mouse song, but last day was originally called battered, in the first update

I feel like the new Sunsets is better than the original. Old Sunsets feels like a nice song of relief while the new one feels more like the final resolution to a cartoon (which works for this mod)
Although i do like the new version it just felt like you feel relief and get the song vibing. Im fine if you have somesong that you hate but im fine with it

I like the new one bae side of the atmosphere. It feels a lot darker and more empty in there
Both sunsets are good in their owns ways.
The old one feels like Mickey wants to apologize and thank the player for being there for him.
The new one may also feel like an apology and a thanks but also like a fun little thing before going off.
If they used old, they should’ve used it as a good ending where in the last day song of you have zero misses in the whole week, and beat last day, a cutscene will play where the portal closes, Mickey drops the gun and breaks down on the floor, boyfriend helps him up, and then he puts the mic up and ask if Mickey wants to sing one last time..
Edit: the “happy” ending that would play the current version of sunsets would be a fake thing Satan put up for Mickey, and Minnie was never there. To get that ending you must have 5 misses max, anything above results bad ending.

For me it sounds like they're more in pain and it shows more of the pressure
I personally like both new versions plus New Last Day has that sad feeling in the song that really plays into how Mickey has finally given up and doesn't want to make things better anymore. Kinda gives the player the "It's your fault this happened" feeling
I do like the old last day's beginning more with boyfriend beginning the song instead of Mickey, besides that, completely agree

Banger is a little bit too strong of a word more like a semi more favorable arrangement of noises

Honestly I prefer the older one more, mostly because it has that sad relief, kinda like a cry of happiness feel. I feel like it touches the aspect more.

The last day in the old version starts with bf singing and in the new starts with mickey, interesting change

I prefer the old Last day, both versions are great but the vocals are better on the old one, and I liked the old instrumental better, it has a melancholic and modern vibe, it gives me VHS vibes
And I prefer the new sunsets for the music much more upbeat and friendly, the old one seems relieving but sad, the new one is more colorful, and the sprites of Mickey in the new sunsets are much better than the old one

I like the new version for the last day, but in regard to Sunsets, although the new one is very good, i felt like the old sunset because had more of an emotional impact and was heart lifting(same goes for the other one), heck it even made me tear up after listening to it fully. the old one was lifting to listen to, and i personally liked it more, this is entirely my opinion, but, they are both good tho.

Both Last Day versions are very nice. I prefer the old one, but the new version is good. The Sunsets song, the new version of it doesn't sound very exciting unlike the old one.
You know, I can see why someone would say the old version of sunsets is better but imo, I think the new one is better than the old because that one feels more like a bittersweet conclusion. It’s bitter because all the pain and suffering Mickey went through and it’s sweet because it’s finally over (for the time being). Also that cheeky little cycles reference at the end, hehe

Ok. So I kind of like the Old Last Day than new because BF sings first. And that gives off a feeling that he is telling micky not to pull the trigger and end things off. On the other hand, the New Last Day feels like MUCH more of a sad song, having that sad feeling that it's too late... So I think the New Last Day is kind of better for me.
As for Sunsets, I prefer the old version. Although the new one sounds more of a Bop, the old one feels like something that would ACTUALLY be in an old Disney movie. (Not OLD old, but at least the 80s - Early 20s.
Compare the old and new hell hole next, there's no difference to the song but I think it'd be nice to see a comparison of both the sprites and visuals

The bad ending: In the fact way BF looks behind and saw a portal he hold the floor and mickey got a gun and aims at his head.
The good ending: The fact way minnie came back and he break up that his lovely mouse and mickey is so happy.

To be honest, new last day is noisy,it is not sad at all except for the speech.and for sunset, I don't care on it in general but if I did, the old since it was more relieving and more cooling than the newer version.
