I had the immense pleasure of meeting Jason a few weeks ago, when he came to our little theatre to see a show. To have listened to his music and lyrics for so many years, and suddenly see him sitting two rows away from me was a surreal experience. Ever mindful of intruding on his privacy, I nevertheless approached him to say hello, knowing the opportunity would never happen again. He was incredibly gracious and genuinely welcoming to me and my daughter. Her photo with him is on our musical wall, centre stage with a Parade poster. In all my excitement at meeting him, I forgot to say thank you; So thank you for the music,the words, the inspiration, joy, sadness and beauty in all that you create. Continued success to you in all that you do.
Sometimes the greatest thing you can do is to just make more music. Thank you for always making more, and making it better so we push onward and upward.
