This place is the sister park of Dollywood owned by Dolly Parton (which was also originally another location of silver dollar city) if you enjoyed it I’d definitely check out Dollywood!!!
I fuck with Jacob and Lucas' channel so hard. Their videos never fail to not only entertain me but be side splittingly funny the whole time lol. It's my kind of comedy
Omg something iconic is the Duggar family fucking loves this place because it’s so close to where they live. Jill Duggar went there in leggings for the first time ever in her life, and she accidentally ran into the rest of her family there and that’s how they found out she had left their cult. I know you boys are Duggar family aware so there’s that lmao
I am just imagining this scene! Jill is in her leggings, having the time of her life while watching her friend who is on a water ride. The drop happens, Jill is splashed, she let's out a squeel and as she turns, she sees the familiar faces of her entire family, all dressed in matching denim jeans and skirts to the ground, with white or red turtle necks. They all have their hands on their hips and look disgusted. They shake their heads slowly and walk away in unison.
I think what Lucas felt when Jacob was riding the rides is Compersion. Compersion is our wholehearted participation in the happiness of others. It is the sympathetic joy we feel for somebody else, even when their positive experience does not involve or benefit us directly. Thus, compersion can be thought of as the opposite of jealousy and possessiveness. Slay boyzzz
Stop bc Jacob is so cute in this going on about how much he liked the rides. I love the genuine happiness he’s giving so much. This video made me so happy
I got stuck at the very top of the Wildfire roller coaster there when I was 15. Lightening struck it and I had to walk down the maintenance stairs barefoot from the top with my cousins who were so religious they didn’t wear pants so we were all wearing skirts. I was wearing flip flops so I’d taken them off so I didn’t lose them and I ended up cutting my foot on the metal stairs. Another lady that was with us had a literal heart attack from the panic and then the walk down the stairs. What a weird day. Big core memory activated, thank you adventure boyz 🎉
@@backseatseranade a traumatic even happening on their property? usually when people get stuck on rides at cedar point they get free passes for life or something like that so they don’t sue for negligence
I love how Jacob and Lucas always “yes and” when they give their commentary. It’s really fun to listen to. I don’t have any siblings but if I did I would want them to support my stories like that.
27:25 Jacob is sooo right about that part though, im a germophobe but the few times i felt stress free and alive was when i let myself "feel" dirty. I totally get that feeling of wanting to craw out your own skin, if i dont shower for one day, i will be an absolute horrible mood until i do shower. But he is right when you let yourself go and just jump in the mud and laugh and then go roll in dirt, its such a care free feeling.
Totally feeling Jacob's vibe...Theme parks during the day, riding certain rides can be awkward. Theme parks at night is a whole different energy and sense of adventure ✨️
I remember being a kid going to grandfathers mansion and hiding in the exit area to scare my sister who was still inside, but I accidentally jumped out at the wrong time and yelled and scared some random lady instead. lol
Ya know...$92 admission isn't really that bad considering you're there for over 10hrs...great shows, rides, and whatnots included. That's only $9/hr...I've paid that just to park my car in some major cities...lol Also...you guys crack me up constantly! ...lol 👍
Yes! When you break it down like that it’s pretty reasonable. And the food (maybe not the hot dogs😅) looked like good quality and they the place is so well kept and such a great variety of activities! If they pay their workers a living wage how awesome that’d be too. 10% of Disney employees are homeless. Which is inexcusable.
Son of Beast was the first wooden roller coaster to go upside down. It killed people so they dismantled it. Random bit info my brain held onto for this moment specifically it seems.
This is my favorite video you guys have done. I strictly listened to it while driving this afternoon and I thought it was hilarious, and had to go back and watch it this evening. I've never been to this park, but as others have said, it looks like Dollywood, which I think needs to be a future video. Dollywood also has that Cinnamon Bread, but sadly, it doesn't have Grandfather's Mansion.
Part of why Powder Keg stops and "builds up hype" is because it's powered by an aircraft catapult. It's building up momentum to make you go from something like 0-60 in 2 seconds.
you guys actually should do a glass blowing class! it’s both scary and fun 😂 and they really do most of the work for you, i think it could be a cool video!!
I love the commentary on this video, I think it fits the editing really well! Also, so iconic watching Jacob just sit on his own constantly on rides, especially the log flume 💀💀
i was the purple dancer in the saloon show and i can’t stress how sad i am that i didn’t notice y’all. i would’ve lost my mind. thank you for coming!!!!!
I have been to Silver Dollar City....probably 40 years ago. I forgot the place even existed. Your video makes me say, "Wow, that's cool. Should my family go there? Would that be cool?" I think it might be cool.
You should! I went recently with my family, and the theme and rides are just a blast! It’s also a lot cleaner than most theme parks, and the food is actually bomb.
That's hilarious my very first roller coaster I have ever ridden was powderkeg and I thought I was going to die as well. What makes it more funny is that I was 23 😂
I loooove the fact that Jacob went to all those rides alone, so happy and adorable sitting im those empty rides 😂 and those rollercoasters looks do good to me and i'm not a fan of rides and this type of parks. I would go there 100%. This video was so enjoyable, thank you bros brothers!! ❤
I grew up close to Branson, so my family used to get season tickets for SDC, I’m so glad a lot of my favorite rides are still there! And probably some of the best theme park food I’ve ever had! So glad you guys got to visit!!

You guys were just down the road from me. I haven’t been there in years but it would’ve been cool to see you two walking around Branson and SDC. Too bad the old fire in the hole wasn’t still around, it was the best ride there to me.
I grew up in springfield about 30 minutes north of Branson. In the 70s and early 80s we usually went there once a year. Saying the employees use method acting just cracked me up. Many years ago, my family went there for the Christmas lights, which were amazing at night! They had a great production of Charles Dicken's A Christmas Carol, a glass blowing demo where the artist made a snowman and a Christmas ornament, and and old candy shop where a tiny elderly lady pounded out a huge mound of peanut brittle by hand. It was a lot of fun, but it was super hilly so anyone with mobility issues will sadly have an issue. As someone who doesn't do rides, I personally wish the entry cost didn't include the rides so people going for the demos and unique shops either didn't have to pay or paid a much lower cost, if I lived there and that was the paying situation, the old candy shop would be dangerous lol!
I swear Lucas and Jacob have some sort of magic because everytime they go anywhere it seems like they are the only people there
bcuz most of the places they visit are kinda boring and in hick country.
I feel like it’s because they go in the middle of the week
Do u think they were glitched into an alternative reality ?
its cause they're in the midwest! Just the Cruikshank boys and tumbleweeds 🏜
bc they go to the most random places 😭
the way every amusement park video jacob makes its just jacob riding the rides and lucas watching😭😭
Yesss 😂😂😂 Lucas is the parent 😂
Any other family Lucas would be getting so much crap from his siblings. In my family he would be forced onto the rollercoasters

I was going to say, you could switch the 2 parks and never know the difference 😂
I was wondering why it was so similar lol
Oh wow that makes so much sense. I knew I had been on that giant barn swing at Dollywood 😅
Wait that’s so funny because this whole video I’m like “this is literally Dollywood”. That makes way more sense now as to why lol
I wouldn’t say they are sister parks, both are just both owned by Herschend company
I love the continued lore of Jacob and Lucas being the only people around in these videos lol
