Saw it on jerichos channel already. It's so sad that people can't even have a good laugh with friends in matchmaking. But I always thought you both will get griefing banned for that in the future and now it happened. You shouldn't grief anymore my friend. Keep in mind: The next griefing ban is permanent, it means you've a game ban on your profile, can't join any vac secure server anymore and can't trade your skins.

- I reached it without caring and don't grief

I got overwatculh banned before for no reason once and moved on since steam support has no care whatsoever. After a year, tried if i stil remember that account and guess what i got my banned lifted with steam's message saying like "it looks like we made a mistake" that i can remember. So yeah, false overwatch ban on cheats happens :)

False griefing overwatches happen all the time due to overwatches ticking it for things such as 1 teamkill ehich shouldn’t count as a overwatches ban considering 3 team kills will get you a 30m ban

When overwatch was nearly brand new I had around 15 years of cs in my backpack, Yet I kept struggling around supreme had already reached global but I kept playing because I love cs and I used to be around Lem-Supreme at that time in csgo. Then one day I got kicked from a matchmaking Baam global cooldown permanently for cheating :D Since then I added another 5K hours in csgo on my alt accs that's all global and never been OW banned again. And for the story sake it's the first time in my life I've been banned in any game for cheating and I never been vac banned. And steam support refuses to help me just automated replies. So my main steam acc got 1 gameban for csgo and nothing else and it's my oldest and most valuable account. And none of my alt accs have been banned either. Yet steam refuses to help but I'm sure OW come along way since then. You are a great player, also good at griefing apparantly haha. :D But I still wish they would remove overwatch and spent moore time and money on actual anti cheat instead of using a community wich is unpaid for their work. Overwatch mainly exist because valve was being cheap but then again it's a company that only exist to earn money.

Valve spends a lot of time and money on an actual anticheat that's NOT INVASIVE thus it's impossible for it to really get all that much better when it only bans people that are 100% confirmed cheating and it catches anybody who uses anything even remotely public and free to cheat inside the game (which is alot you'd be surprised leaving only people who spend $$$ on public cheats that still get banned or private that only get banned if an exploit used inside the cheat is targeted for bans). The move for non invasive is the ideal anti cheat method for everyones privacy and that's why valve sticks by it. Overwatch as a whole is to help out in regards to people who haven't been caught by VAC yet and as it stands helps train their vacnet system that will eventually evolve into something that can auto ban cheaters who use any sort of aimbot (to a certain degree) or anything that's not humanly possible to pull off (like antiaim or as the community calls it spinbot). Your ban is unfortunate if you weren't actually cheating or doing something else like having a cheater call positions or stream sniping or something else fishy, but as it stands the community is better off with overwatch even if for griefing reasons even if it's skewed as the overwatchers have no way to know if the grief was done as a friendly joke between friends in queue or a guy genuinely breaking the rules to intentionally ruin someones round. The whole situation with being able to appeal overwatch bans would get out of hand as a fuck ton of people who were properly banned would spam saying they were legit causing a huge headache to the valve team responsible for that stuff and wouldn't be worth it in the end. It's not a totally ideal situation as it is but it's the only real thing valve can do with how the entire cheating scene is. And as it stands even if you have the greatest anti cheat in the world nothing code wise can't be bypassed.
