I love seeing how different artists use the same tools in different ways to create the same end result. I'm a portrait artist and I only use Illustrator for my work because I like having the ability to scale as small or large as I like without loss of quality and I use all of these tools but in totally different ways. I like to watch because there's always something new you can learn; a new take on a technique you thought you've mastered just to find out there's a more efficient way or one that produces a better result. Awesome work btw man, you're killin' it 🔥🔥🔥
lmao you just saved my ass on a job i'm running out of time on! i've learned more from watching your videos over the past 2 days than i have taking a couple months worth courses from adobe certified educators! its way easier for me to learn by watching the process than being lectured to and i, for once, don't feel like a big dumb dumb while trying to learn illustrator. anyway, THANK YOU! i appreciate you! and, of course, i love your work!
Shading in illustrator has always been intimidating, making me use clip studio paint a lot, but with this video ....adobe illustrator here I come. Thanks #chiworld for the amazing content your share everyday.
Thanks for making all these videos!! I really appreciate your tutorials and am happy someone makes several videos in multiple ways and styles it's so great to have these resources!! Your the best!!
Hello. A quick pass here, to review and congratulate for the work, and also by showing the techniques you use. Very useful for those practicing vector images like me, and for those who use Illustrator for other purposes. Whoever comes with more tutorials, with this, please. Greetings and greetings from Brazil.
Hey I’m a new subscriber and I like your work and your tutorials are very informative. I have an iPad but it’s an older version and can’t download illustrator on it I’m getting a new one and was interested to know which tablet you have?
Yo, I have been following you since past 1 month and you inspired me a lot, I am a motion graphic designer but I always want to learn illustartion. While I am able to achieve good results by following your tutorials but can you please eloborate your process of making hair and small small fringes of hair, eg. eyebrows and stuble? Please be mind that my hand is not that great while it comes to use pencil or wacom :( never was a good traditional artist but learning thanksssss!
Hello, I'm Brazilian, maybe I got a typo because I'm using the translator, well ... I would like you to make a video showing how to set up a brush to make this art. thank you if you can answer me I love your videos, very good and creative! Congratulations on the job.
When I select all lines and do Expand Appereance->Merge->Then Add the color with Rectangle tool->Arrange ,send to back->Select all , then Merge-> Isolate Selected group-> and delete it doesnt come out the way like how it comes out for you in this tutorial. Can you please help me? Am I doing something wrong? Please help me, and thank you so much for these tutorials. You the G.O.A.T!!
Hey @chiworld1234 where do you look when you do face shades? I don't see you turning on and off layers veiw button to see the shades on his face. Do you just use another device to see the photo? Thanks.
exact pose tracing isnt good tho.. most people wont learn from the poses like that.. best is if pose reference is next to paper and u try to redraw it with ur eyes checking the ref pic every second
someone must be talented in order to do that. but just tracing like this only needs practices and skills about adobe illustrator ,take me for example I am not talented but i have been doing this for something Like 10 months now and my arts now are way better than before...you can Check some speed arts on my channel
I agree with you and the art on the internet culture is in a weird place. Its funny that people consider work like wats in this vid a cartoon when a cartoon really is more like a stylized caricature. and its funny how people get fooled into buying photo edits and filtered shit. But i try to not hate those people. They can develop skill and style like this youtuber . We all have different goals and i personally try not to convince them that my idea of what makes a good artist is whats real, unless they ask. I try to let my work talk and if i build an audience that wants me to talk about this shit then i will but we all just got to do a good ass job.
