Ok, BUT! TELL. THEM. AGAIN! I’m SO DEAD ASS too. Tevin’s discography is something SERIOUS like he’s BEEN the TRUTH out chea. They be SCHLEEP on our man’s though. It’s despicable, and they’re peasants.. smh lol. A L L of his albums are FIRE I’d know as I OWN every single ONE! HELL I asked the man to sing at my future hypothetical WEDDING down to the Twitter’s one night BUT promptly stroked out for like an hour cuz shorty ACTUALLY answered me. DAWG I love him THAT much. Shit was embarrassingly HILARIOUS!!! 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

Great point. I think I initially Only noticed it when he was belting now listening to it I'm noticing it through out the song. I just visualized Aretha singing and his phrasing 100% her start to finish of the song.

Why back to the world didn’t get the credit I thought it was amazing album he just put out another Tevin classic and he made this album after he graduated high school so all the kid stuffs out of his head so he could talk about his adulthood With his 3rd album is it because of usher or somebody cause I don’t know what the hell happened even Tevin Campbell fourth album was decent I don’t think people care cause of all the new groups and singers was coming in strong but I still appreciate that he got his respect when he got older in his age

Obviously Tevin nailed it! When doesn't he? Exactly.
Was that the homie Peabo Bryson introducing him, though? Imagine getting props from a man with a voice like HIS! I miss this era of music so much.

Yep, I think it is better than the album version. And IMO his voice was best during this time period. You could hear that he had grown up, yet he still had much of his vocal range and agility from the earlier years but with more strength, a certain ease and confidence too.

Sorry but I beg to differ, Tevin Campbell in my own personal opinion has NEVER EVER sounded like D'Angelo in absolutely no way, shape of form, oh heck no, to me they sound absolutely NOTHING alike, Tevin is a far more superior vocalist than him, not to be offensive or put down DAngelo singing but Tevin is in a class all by himself, D'Angelo sounds good but no he and Tevin Campbell to me sounds absolutely nothing alike at all, Tevin has the ultimate fat more superior voice , kudos to DAngelo but for me it's Tevin Campbell all of the way, no ifs ands or buts about it whatsoever
