This course reminds me of Super Mario Galaxy. Why? It follows the same design pattern. Unlike most of the other tracks, instead of taking inspiration directly from another Mario game, it focuses on a different core theme. In Super Mario Galaxy, each galaxy had an individual 'core concept' that would be reused for everything. Melty Molten, Freezeflame, Bubble Breeze, and Flipswitch Galaxy all have an environment conducive to the core concept of the galaxy, an environment built around one design. Music Park is the same way, building its core concepts of timing and drifting around the music themed environment. I just really like this course.
@@smooth99me It's the European standard for screen encoding but in this context it basically refers to the European/ANZ version of the game. The US version of MK8 still has the name Music Park, while the EU version of both MK7 and 8 call it Melody Motorway. It's the same thing with Wario Shipyard in the US but in the EU it's called Wario's Galleon
Didn't they make it where you dont hold down the throw button to keep your item in back of you and you can let go of the button when you put it in back of you and pick up another item or am i not thinking right???

And the good thing is that this course made it to Mario Kart 8 and its Deluxe port as well.

8 introduced a similar track to this, Electrodrome (3rd race of Star Cup). This Music Park is also in 8 as a retro track.
