@@newbster75 Yes was half price last month and I agree it needs a bit oi break in, say 10-20km. I used it as daily walker for a while to break it in before I used it for runs.
I just got the Under Armour Infinite Pro, which is a dual density using the HOVR+ with an EVA carrier foam on the outside. I’m actually surprised with the shoe. I’ve never ran in Under Armour shoes before, but this is definitely going in my rotation. I’m a heavier runner, and I can confirm this is a great midsole for us heavier runners. First run, it made my run feel very easy. It reminds me a lot of the Triumph 20, but more stable. Under Armour has great running clothes, but their shoes haven’t been that good. This is a huge step in the right direction.
@@kofuzi I’ve used their singlets and shorts and love them, especially here in Florida. Comfortable and breathable. Every time I tried their shoes, they felt heavy and blocky. The Infinite Pro is still hefty, but I weighed them next to my Puma Magnify Nitro 2’s, and they’re about the same weight.
I used the Infinite Elite + Velociti Elite 2 rotation this summer to train and race a half. They definitely did the trick, though I was never deeply in love with either shoe. I think this is worth considering if you're on a budget and/or newer to the sport, as it is a decent all-rounder that could be your single pair.
Under Armour sent me both to review. I haven't tried the Pro yet. I don't usually like to think of shoes as one being the premium version and another being a cheaper budget option, but that was the impression I got
This is the one they marketed, but what I noticed from there actually pro runners and college athletes, they have been favoring the takedown Pro model for the daily and warm-up dynamic work before putting spikes on for track workouts.
My eyebrow shot off the top of my head when you said it might (some day) give the SB a run for its money. Still don't own a single UA shoe, and it doesn't look like this one will be my first. Too many better options for DT: NB5, 1080, Rebel, Triumph, Cloudsurfer... Maybe the high weight helps you to explode off the blocks on race day?
I’m usually not too preoccupied with weight, but like a few years ago when Adidas daily trainers keep weighing in at high 10s and into the 11oz, the weight becomes unignorable
I received this shoe for review as well and while the shoe has the potential to be great, it's the only shoe where my foot went numb during every run (usually after about 4 miles). I found it to be quite annoying and I stopped running in the shoe altogether. Besides that, the shoe is bulky but it has a fun underfoot feel and is built very well.
I have a pair of low end UA running shoes. I can say that they are very decent in performance and also very hard-wearing. They are not a big name is running shoes but neither am I an elite runner
I have been eying this one for a week now but the one the took me off is the weigth and the knitted upper that not actually a knit. Maybe will wait for your Adizero Evo SL review 😍
I did own some pair of UA's running shoes (a long time ago TBH) and what I recall is their high quality construction, but sadly the brand has not gotten a real breakthrough on running shoes to get a share market along the renown brands....
The Elite has a really surprisingly good bit of stability in it. Have you given the Infinite Pro a try? It's a touch softer (and I think it looks better too).
I just did my first run in the Infinite Pro this morning. It’s surprisingly good, and I’m not an under Armour fan. I typically think their shoes are like bricks. These are really good. Almost felt effortless and surprisingly stable on the run. They feel about the same weight as my Puma Magnify Nitro 2. I will say, I’m a heavier runner, so for me they felt great, but I can see where lighter runners may not get the same effect.
I’ve yet to try UA running shoes and might not yet in the near future. But at least I’ll see what they will offer in the future if the direction they are heading to is correct.
Yeah... I haven't tried the Infinite Elites, it's just that in the general category of Daily Trainers the Mach is one of the lightest that comes to mind. I also have the Bondi 8's which I have started to dislike after about 250 miles, and they also weigh about 6 grams lighter than these Under Armour. I realize the Bondi is quite a different shoe... it's not just heavy but feels big and clunky to me after a while, and it still weighs less. Just some food for thought.
my goodness.. this shoe looks so cheap, super dad outlet mall shoe for sure.. My opinion is, if you are running in UA, you definitely arent serious about the sport 😂
Something tells me this might end up being a nice clearance find in 6-12 months
I already bought mine a couple of months ago for $109 AUD. It takes a couple of use to break it in.

I used to pretty much only have under Armour running clothes. Especially for winter running, the apparel has been quite good.

I absolutely love my Infinite pro breeze it’s amazing the pedax and EVA carrier foam is peak
I got them too. Also a heavy set runner. If only it was a bit lighter. Wouldve been better.
@ you should totally try the breeze version the upper is thinner and lights and it way lighter
Been a UA fan since they were only a t shirt company. Some of their footwear is great and some no so much. Great video breakdown
Great description. Like to Kofuzi. Happy friday.

Great review!
Im skeptical on it! I tried 42,5 probably need 43! It fells like a firmer ultra boost 3.
Same feeling about UA, great clothes! Shoes hmmm
As always the best shoe reviewer, thanks there is one new version that no one has reviewed yet UA velociti pro probably would be a good combination.

Seeing you in that UA Hovr CGR clip is wild. You look like a high schooler, so young and clean cut.
That was from the before times
Ι never got what is the point of releasing a 320 gr shoe

Hat Tip for the use of 'frumpy'!

Yeah I had a pair maybe 10 years ago or so, the upper was this rather thick soft woven fabric that was quite comfy on foot. I liked those shoes.

It’s a Comfy shoes for easy run. The second version is more squishy.l like it !
Strange they sent you this one… it’s been out for a while ( at least in Canada). I thought they would send out the Velociti Pro instead.
I’ve had it for a while
How does this compare to the puma foreverrun nitro?
200K! 🎉
The under armor infinite pro breeze is the best shoes of 2024 pls review it you will love it
I’ve yet to try UA running shoes and might not yet in the near future. But at least I’ll see what they will offer in the future if the direction they are heading to is correct.
kofuzi: almost 200k ;)
I appreciate Hoka for getting brands to increase their stack height, but I do not like their influence in midsoles getting wider and wider, argh
I think Velocity 4 ($130), their lighter trainer that could go in that rotation as well.
I bought the Infinite Pros at 50% discount. It would have been better if they made it a bit lighter.
The green colorway isn't green.
Morgan McDonald is with ON now
I’m well aware. It does not change the fact that, back when he signed with Under Armour, I had questions.
@@kofuzi True!
Their elite athletes can still train in UA shoes bc they are the type of people who could literally run in anything
that's kind of what I think was happening previously
I'm going for triple black for the next colorway.🤨
I try this shoe in UA store 3 weeks ago.. I will say NO COMMENT..
UA has a good line up if it was released in 2021 …
Yo, what’s going on!!!
UA should better stay in their niche of casual or gym wear where they mostly focus on durability.
Wow heavy 🤔 iirc it weighs 93 grams more than a Mach 6.
It’s not really trying to compete with a Mach but yeah, the weight is an issue
Yeah... I haven't tried the Infinite Elites, it's just that in the general category of Daily Trainers the Mach is one of the lightest that comes to mind. This shoe looks like it’s from an outlet mall
It looks like a durable tank like many other UA shoes.
