i like that talks a lot about themes that are not morally good or bad. For example, him saying that he doesn't pick his games for fun, its not an idea that streamers say out loud or promote. But he is not ashamed or scared to be honest about it. This interview reminds me a lot of an interview that linus gave a few years ago, that talked a lot about business in entertainment. Great vibes, loved this episode, i hope ludwig bidet business flourishes.

I do love that toast is like worried about bringing up older, boring and more boomer content meanwhile Northernlion is out here a 101 streamer with that just being his content, its crazy how diversely split streaming still is
regarding the question at the end about making friends as an adult: It is super hard, especially to get to that place of close friendship with people like a tight friend group in school or something. But, finding a community where people meet up consistently for planned/semi planned events and meetups really is a great place to start. If you share common interests and are meeting up fairly regularly, i think you can almost always guarantee a few friendly acquaintances that could potentially grow into stronger friendships. But even then, you have to put in work to build them stronger. My recent experience: I redownloaded pokemon go kind of on a whim and was playing it in my local park with a friend when we stumbled upon a group of people of all ages playing during a raid hour. Turns out they meet there almost every game event to catch pokemon together. So now we join them sometimes and I kinda consider them my friends. Plus it's great because if I can't think of anything to talk about, I just talk about pokemon go. Also I did not realize that game still has a pretty strong community. It's really cute to see little groups of people still out there catching pokemon.
I feel like toast is bordering a fence in terms of wanting another person to recognise him before feeling comfortable being friends. Making real friends is tough even without wondering whether if they like you because you are famous. The point about real friends is just being able to be yourself without actively putting up a front.
