Something most outsiders don't realize is all Chinese characters are composed of radicals: smaller and simpler components that mean different words separately but compose an entirely different meaning when put together. The act of memorizing characters and their brush strokes starts with an understanding akin to basic counting. That one digit is a number, and several numbers is no more than the combination of its parts.
Sometimes radicals don't have meanings but you are right. Writing down this character is easy even for a.begginer
Radicals make Chinese way easier (and sometimes weirder) than people think. If you know the radicals then you're actually not too far from spelling a good amount of characters and knowing their basic meanings occasionally. It's like an alphabet. It was the second thing my Chinese 1 class studied after numbers. When I needed to make Chinese characters for a computer system that didn't support them I had to make them, and radicals are the first place I went to make bigger characters. Then they could be made into smaller documents instead of just straight images.

The character is used to refer to a specific noodle dish from my home town. Most people don’t see this character anywhere in their life let alone know how to write it down 😂. It’s so rare I can’t even type it on my phone because it‘s not included in the database. But yeah, it’s a real character in Chinese.

Simply a little more complex in structure does not mean it's more difficult to write. The less strokes a character have the more difficult it is to perfect in writing.
