In the Bible references which you are quite capable of searching for online, is the promise, the hope of what shall be for all those who put their trust in the Almighty God.
People are killing themselves by the 10's of thousands because they have no hope for the future and no hope for eternity after our few days on earth are finished.
You may discard the hope which God gives us in His Word. That's your choice. But I posted it so that you might begin to investigate that what is happening around us is soon to end. Unless you have hope for tomorrow beyond yourself, you too will cave in to what is about to hit the fans.

As for myself, in my space, I help those in desperate situations in various ways. I believe in doing what you can for others in need.

Mark Leach, I wish you wouldn't call yourself a Christian. The Anglican Church is a branch of the pagan Catholic church, and there is nothing Christian in it. If you want to call yourself a "Christlike" obey the command of Jesus given to the Jewish high priest Nicodemus and become born again. Being religious is not the same as being Christian.
The definition of antisemetism was changed in 2016 by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance(IHRA) to include assertions that delegitimise the State of Israel.This would includes criticism of Israel.Dont be fooled and misunderstand the implications of changing laws regarding antisemitism in Australia.

I have lost my oldest friend since 7th October. I got such vitriol from her. No compassion that my family got attacked that day. All I got was how bad Israel is. How the rapes didn't happen. Hamas didn't kill babies. My life long friend is no more. I can't ever forgive her. A fiend of mine ended up by a Palestinian rally in London a couple of weeks back. She had to flee for her safety while the police stood by and treated her like she was stupid. The police stand with the Palestinian supporters and tell the Jews to hide! What is this 1935!

Before tearing down Antisemitism in Australia, you might want to recognize and give a voice in Parliament to the indigenous people of Australia. Preventing or voting AGAINST them and THEIR voice is REVERSE Antisemitism.
Ok - but most of the Jewish community and their representatives did support the Voice, and publicly stated as such. Unfortunately it wasn’t successful but not because of lack of support within the Jewish community. Interesting that most of the pro Palestinian protesters who were so strongly in favour of the Voice/Aboriginal rights, have forgotten and abandoned it now it’s not the fashionable thing.

@@TonyFiling two points: it’s not “their people”. Only the tiniest fraction of pro-Palestinian protesters are Palestinian. I certainly don’t begrudge them from advocating but I’m also not talking about them. I’m talking about the huge number of university students/influencers who were rallying and protesting in support of the Voice… who have since dropped it as an issue now it’s not in the news and have suddenly discovered Gaza/ are protesting this issue. That part is not in itself surprising but the extreme levels of antisemitism and intolerance is unnerving for a group without any actual connection to the issue nor any concern for other world conflict. Eg supporting radical Islam / Hamas and justifying violence as resistance. The second issue is one of realism. The Jewish population of Aus is tiny. It’s not a question of voting - those votes were already counted and they weren’t sufficient to override the no vote. I’d be interested how many of the pro-Palestinians/Gaza protesters voted yes… other than the far left contingent, I don’t think it’s as many as you might think..
