Can you use any of it to hand wash dishes? If no what do you recommend for hand washing dishes? What do you recommend for keeping hands clean then? Is the oxygen boost like oxiclean but natural?
Yes you can. Per their website "One way to hand wash dishes with Branch Basics is to spray the All-Purpose or pump the Foaming Wash directly onto the dish. Then scrub, rinse, and dry. For stuck on food or grime, leave the solution to dwell longer before rinsing. Another way is to soak the dishes. Spray about 10 sprays of the All-Purpose solution or add 1 tsp Concentrate into the sink or mixing bowl. Add hot water, agitate to create suds, soak dishes in solution, then rinse and dry." And yes the oxygen boost is like a natural oxicelan. Love using that for hard to clean items. You can also use the foaming hand wash to keep hands clean.
Personally, I found them to be unethical. I chose items for my cart and checked out and paid. But then when I received my order confirmation, they had substituted most of the items with things I didn't even want.
Londa's Journey hi! Yes I am still using BB, the one thing I don’t use it for a lot is laundry because I do so much, it wasn’t as cost effective. Also the unsung hero is the oxygen boost! I order one a month because I go through it so fast, there’s so much you can use it on. If you want to try it, you can click on my referral link in the description and get $10 off, all you would have to pay is shipping ♥️ I can also say that during this whole pandemic I kept using BB and had total peace of mind knowing I was getting things really clean without using harmful toxic chemicals.
Yeah I am not so so sure about the laundry too. I live in NYC and I was my clothes at a local laundromat. It’s so hard for me to know if I put enough detergent or oxygen boost. I’m so used to seeing the soapy foam building up in the laundry machine. I use big laundry machines
That would be tough to tell how well it’s working! I would make sure to pre-treat stains, possibly add a little bit more concentrate because I imagine the water is really hard there. If you are looking for something more budget friendly, I really love biokleen laundry detergent from Amazon. Oh and suds doesn’t always equal clean! Many commercial and soap manufacturers add chemicals specifically to create bubbles throughout washing just to satisfy people when they look in the machine. It’s pretty scientific when you look into it but I wouldn’t judge your clothes on getting clean by soap suds but rather if they come out clean and don’t smell like anything.
Hi Kori! Thank you so much for this great video! I just got my order and am curious about the lid on your concentrate bottle. Did it come with it or did you steal it from another bottle you already had? The lid I have on my concentrate bottle would not be able to do just one drop for the glass cleaner.
Hello! Since the filming of this video they have changed out lids. They saw that the old one was leaking and they switched out to a twist on twist off cap. For window cleaner I would just open and do a really quick drop. I would see no harm if a little extra got in there ☺️ let me know what you think of the product after using it for a while, I’m sure you will love it!
I just found Branch Basics.... I too am going to not renew my Grove Collaborative... yes, great customer service, I bought the accessories... sponges, dusters, scrubbies, etc.... I just made my Branch Basic cleaners in glass bottles, I purchased on Amazon- three bottles.[ better price point than on Grove Collaborative and Branch Basics. ] ... floor, window/mirror, and all purpose... [ waiting on my first order from Norwex-- and may not need the window/mirror mixture ] After mixing the all purpose it was Quick cleaning in my bathroom. When I run out of my Method laundry detergent, I will try the laundry concentrate in their bottle. I can no longer find the free and clear method pump bottle from Method..... reason, I searched for a new laundry detergent. Thank you for your review and video....
Thank you for watching 🙂 you’ll fall in love with the Norwex window cloth! I keep one in my car so after the car wash I can dry the wet spots left on the windows. Great idea on the bottles from Amazon! I looked up the Method free and clear laundry detergent in EWG and it got a “D”! That is so shocking to me, but like I said people look at the bottle and assume it’s a good clean product based off the writing in the bottle. To me that’s false advertising. The BB for laundry worked really well but wasn’t as cost effective as I would like.
This was so good Kori! Im super impressed with you! You are so consistent - something that I aspire to be one day! Think I'll give it a go! When I order I'll use your code! I 😉
It really depends on the softness/hardness of your water. Branch Basics recommends filling the dispenser with oxygen boost and 1-2 tsp of the concentrate. If your wanting something already made and ready to go then seventh generation dishwasher detergent is really clean! Hope this helps 🙂
@@kindredkori2916 what about other 7th Generation products? I'm in the process of switching everything over to 7th Gen, but started seeing ads for Force of Nature, then eventually Branch Basics, so now I'm really confused!
@@angiepattillo3599 i actually try to avoid Seventh generation for private reasons. Branch basics did come out with dishwasher tabs but I haven’t tried them. Thank you for watching 😊 I have used Dr. Bronner's in the past. In concept, Branch Basics Concentrate works similarly to Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap. The difference is that Dr. Bronner’s main ingredient is saponified soap, which does not work well with hard water. Contrary to that, the safe non-petroleum glucoside surfactants in Branch Basics green cleaning products work well even in hard water. So they're very similar but I still prefer BB.
Thank you. I have both & was trying to determine why 😝 Your feedback is helpful. I used your essential oil tip in my BB spray, smells clean & works well! I didn’t use extras in the laundry yet. First load is moreso a clean test.
@@Pravin_Yeshua_BTC That's great! I think it would take a lot of oils to make a big difference in scent for the laundry. I honestly think it's just something we have to get used to, fragrance is so strong and oils aren't. I have put lavender and eucalyptus on wool dryer balls before and that seemed to help the laundry smell good longer.
