Mike what a godsend you are. we are in the welding phase on our bus...His name is Fred. Taking out all the windows and skinning over. we've watched every single one of your videos and can only hope we get to meet you in person some day!
Can't believe all the hard work that was put in, taping up the trim, windows, etc..., and then y'all just took all that back off! 🤣... Great work guys, love the multitasking & the working together between U guys! WTG....ok Dale, let's finish up on your's!
Gina is so like me 😂. Paint on the outside, minimal importance. :) And when you do paint, basic blend in color. Nothing fancy. Honestly, looks good. Love the color.
He really is! Dale too. I could not have accomplished this without them. I'm so grateful for the people I'm my life, there are no words. 💜 Can't wait to finally officially meet you Paula! 😊
What a wonderful friend you are! The community and our world needs people like you. I struggle all the time in getting things done and try to learn new skills. Watching you and your friends tackle these issues gives me confidence to fix issues in my own rig. I don’t own a bus but maybe one of these years. But knowing that this stuff can be handled is great. Thanks for your videos. They are very encouraging to see that people do bond and can get stuff done! Dale seems to be in a bad mood in this video but it may have been just the parts that he was in.
Those little purple paint guns are great. If you keep it clean and use a good regulator it’ll last awhile. Gina your bus looks so much better in white.
For that type of Rustoleum, a 4:3 paint:acetone ratio is what's recommended. Also a catalyst hardener is also recommended. Also with the temps being what they are in your area, some "japan dry" might not be a bad idea as well.
those bolt holes are easier to weld when you hold a piece of copper as a backer behind the hole provided you can reach the back side if you dont have a copper bar you can use a 3/4 or 1 inch pipe cap from lowes/ home depot. just use the flat side
Mike, all's I have to say is, WHAT would everyone do without you. Your such a kind person that you've totally stopped doing everything for yourself to help out everyone else. I'm sure it's very much appreciated. You've got a heart of gold. Not too many friends out there like you.
Hi, Mike. Lately I have been seeing a few schoolies around my town and it's been a blast to see them driving around. Hope one day I'll see your schoolie in my home town.😁😁😆😆
Amazing transformation. I need a crew too. Looks like a filmmaker is going to do a documentary of my life as a Nomad in my Box Van starting in December. It is pretty ugly right now. You guys did a great job on Gina's bus. She is very blessed to have you. Thank you!
Wow! You guys did a great job. Gina you are very blessed! Thank you to all of you for sharing your projects with us. We are really grateful for all the time and hard work that goes into putting a video together. God has surely blessed you with a lot of talent, and for you to be so generous in sharing it and helping others is awesome. We pray God's blessings and safety over you all wherever life takes you Thanks again James and Gina
Thank you, hoping they both get in vibes with living thier best life, and they enjoy the fruit of their labors. That thier later years would be greater than their former years and they would prosper and be in good health even as their souls prosper. Finding friends along the way and becoming fulfilled. Amen. Thanks young feller ! In my own life I can't seem to convey to those who have been there for me my gratitude, so blessings to all who do good.
All of you should make a trip to Colorado. You will all love Lake Tahoe in "The Sierra Mountains." You have been such a great help to Dale and Gina Mike! :)
👍🏽 A couple years newer than mine, with a lovely access door that I am jealous of. Trying to build up the courage on mine (I don't like heights either, especially in terms of trying to use tools. Something that didn't used to bother me... 40 years ago... 😕). Doing it solo is a bit longer than it should be, too. Too easy to sit down and stare at what I want done and wish I had a magic wand.
I'm not a fan of heights, either and at my age I wouldn't bounce back too quickly from a fall. So I'm thinking scaffolding will be the way to go. I'm not good on ladders. I shake to much
I have a HECK of a job with my house on wheels. I've covered it in tuck tape to survive alberta winters and my decals need to go because they are peeling off...and then it will need white paint like this .. it would look so nice! Collab? 😋
Good job folks ! Dales ceiling looks great . How did he come about getting he’s wood exactly ? I would love to do mine like that. Mike I brought one of those sprayers , what do you think about it ? Ok again great job . From Mobile, Alabama , keep the videos coming !
If you look at a bottle of Raptor Liner, you’ll see it says, “Elastomeric.” All that Raptor is, is Elastomeric Paint with paint hardener mixed in. You can buy 6 gallons (5gal) Elastomeric Paint from Beyer and (1gal)Hardener through Amazon for the price of 5quarts of Raptor liner.
sure hope it was easier for you to tell the dif between the primer and the finish paint. Looks the same on video. I HATE painting something the same color as it was. It looks gr8 . . . I see why Gina is so happy.
Looking good. I have to ask what you thought of that spray gun? That one was a consideration of mine for the coach later on. I have heard they are super good on the first go, and hold up on clean out for a while... what is your take on that one?
Mike you are truly one of the most giving people I have ever known.
Very well said yet there is so much more that should be. Mike is a great guy and has a loving wonderful family!
I agree

Bummer! I wish you would add CC on since I am deaf but don’t worry I am still liking on your subscription
Thanks

Gina is so like me 😂. Paint on the outside, minimal importance. :) And when you do paint, basic blend in color. Nothing fancy.

I love the person you are with all the people you know and also with your family and friends. Mike here is Luke.

Do you give advise for those working on their own bus?
I have a HECK of a job with my house on wheels. I've covered it in tuck tape to survive alberta winters and my decals need to go because they are peeling off...and then it will need white paint like this .. it would look so nice! Collab? 😋
Sorry if I missed it, but what grit sand paper are you using? And just the 1 pass or following up with a different grit?
"Why are you still filmin'" needs to be a Tshirt

Where do I sign up for your help sir?! Wow, her bus looks great. What all went into the cost?($200)
I have the same size bus. How much paint did you use? 2 quarts ?
If you look at a bottle of Raptor Liner, you’ll see it says, “Elastomeric.” All that Raptor is, is Elastomeric Paint with paint hardener mixed in. You can buy 6 gallons (5gal) Elastomeric Paint from Beyer and (1gal)Hardener through Amazon for the price of 5quarts of Raptor liner.
Is this kind of bus expensive on the maintenance side?

Hermoso👍
Not too shabby what grit are you guys using at this step rn
how did you mix the paint ?
Trying to get mine done before winter. How many gallons of paint did it take?
One gallon, I linked the paint in the description.

what is the Hight in the bus you painted.
Looking good. I have to ask what you thought of that spray gun? That one was a consideration of mine for the coach later on. I have heard they are super good on the first go, and hold up on clean out for a while... what is your take on that one?
I have only used it this once. It worked great for the whole day and job. I cleaned it and I have hopes for another use. For $16 , I was really happy.
@@navigationnowhere ty good luck on getting in the clear with everything. Winter is Coming...

I'm just wondering where you can go in a skoolie, like parks...
