@@janessajayechampagne My grandparents taught me that life requires a sense of humor no matter what, but when talking about the aging process? You better have that sense of humor primed and ready to go or you’re in for an extra bumpy ride.
The sound of you breathing when you opened the palette said it all. The outer packaging is amazing. I agree, the inside doesn't reflect the outside. Thanks for including the donation information from her previous Pride launch. I appreciate this video, hearing your thoughts, the nod to see videos from deeper complexioned content creators on how the shades will look on them, and hiring/working with people inside the community for their input on product development.
I'm hoping that that donation info is legit. I'm not familiar with the site, but it seems like a weird thing to invent. I'm going to assume it really happened! I just want a palette that's worthy of that cover! 💔
@gelbeauty87 Thanks friend! It was my first time playing with Ensley Reign Cosmetics, and I was loving how it turned out! Pink and green together is one of my favorite combos!
Thanks! I've been enjoying a lot of your colorful looks. I watch a lot on my TV and can't comment from there, and I'm terrible about remembering to circle back!
I’m ALMOST too distracted by your fabulous eye look. I’ve never mentioned my desire to find a beautiful green and pink eye look to you before. And yet you knew! 💚🩷
@@janessajayechampagne I hadn’t thought of that before, but now that you mention it, 100%. When talking about makeup, it would have been a combination that gave a true testament of skill with older formulations.
Like you said, Target was doing rainbows (year round) before it was as acceptable as it is now. They were the first corporation to do away gendered toy section and didn’t back down. Is Target just in their trolling or camp era now during Pride month with these weird Pride Collections? I can’t figure them out.
When I saw the first DM promo photos, I literally thought, “Oh, no.” It’s awful. I’m not going with rainbow washing at any point of the year. I’m supporting LGBTQIA2S+ individuals and causes year round because that is what is deserved. But, regardless, when I saw that palette, I literally went back to the awful MAC Cruella palette. For an artist who has created so many awesome things, Danessa Myricks really lost the plot on this one.
Nana is old and bad with dates! I came out in the early months of 1997, and Ellen came out in April of 1997. Let me live... lol
You’re forgiven, babe ❤🧡💛💚🩵💙💜
@@Claire_by_the_Seashore Thanks! I feel like that Titanic meme some days!

Omg I was born in 1996 in the summer of August ^-^ my birthday btw
I graduated high school in 1996! Nana will now be returning to the home... 😆 🤣 😂
I think the ghosts that were consulted were the cast of the 1984 Ghostbusters or The Friendly Ghost from 1945, but maybe I’m wrong.
Lol I heard that in the edit, I couldn't believe I missed that blooper!

I love pink and green together! It just feels so vintage!

Yeah, Target has been a little all over the place, but I appreciate that they are at least trying and bumbling their way through it.
@@janessajayechampagne That’s a reasonable way to look at it. Corporate chaos but a non-harmful version.

@@MakeupByJamieJarrozzy Hello! 😀
I couldn't agree more about this palette. And for it to be $69....😡😠🤬😠

I know, her lightworks palettes are GORGEOUS! And then...this?! It hurts my heart...
