Growing up in black and white tv I remember and revisit Giving Thanks Everyday . That is what we do still growing up everday.
Funny to see the commercialism back then.I grew up in the 70s and don't remember to much of it on tv.Soupy sales did ask all the kids to send him money and they did and i believe he got suspended.
4:21 I would have loved a whole TV show around the Star family. The film director just made each side character seem so personable. They seemed like a real and relatable family! Roy Rogers makes a fun uncle.

Roy was the quintessential drug store cowboy! He could sing but couldn't rope a cow. He could trim Gabby Hayes' beard but not plow a field. He could ride Trigger all day but never clean his stall. He could shine his boots & spurs but refused to wash and de-louse Bullet. Yet he was so beloved that fans clamored for him to be stuffed and mounted on Trig. Just kidding! I'm just jellous. Gotta watch the master! 🤠
