I don’t know why, but it brought tears to my eyes…happy that you received a long time coming gift and a tad sad that she was a lil confused from leaving her mom and siblings.

Makes me miss our lil 5lb Yorkie(Archie) that we had for 12 years. Passed away a year ago.

I know this isn’t common knowledge but when your small dog shake like that, it’s because their blood sugar is extremely low due to their fast metabolism from them being small. They have to eat very often and you supposed to mix something in their food to help them with their sugar, typically cane syrup is the go to the clear stuff

Give her alittle time to Get used to her new home. Tomorrow she will b flying around ur home. When she p’s & misses just pick her up & put her on the pad sometimes the crates they feel safe in. Best 🐾🐾💜

Can you please provide the breeder you used? I’m trying to get the same dog but can’t find one in FL
To long for that young u need to leave the crate door open and make an area for safety I don’t advise closing the crate door cause most dogs won’t potty where they sleep. Unless like Ivy it was kinda Inpreventable best or Luck it will come she looks comfortable now. Good job 🐾🐾💜

I have a yorkie just love him so much. Very smart dogs. He can be on the opposite side of room and I have atrial fib with my heart. He will come over climb on my lap and then my shoulder hits my ear let’s me know that my heart is out of rythem . With my PTSD he licks my hand. Very smart dogs and very loving dogs. Enjoy.

@@NaturallySprinkles The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America is supposed to be a good way to find a "reputable breeder." There is some controversy about the optimal time to get a Puppy. Some are saying 12 weeks is best as opposed to 8 weeks if they are in the company of their Mom and siblings. Of course on our end we want our fur baby ASAP. Ivy is so cute, and you are a terrific dog parent.

The dry food was provided by the breeder so I have no clue but she currents is on the Hills Science Diet (Small Paws)

@@NaturallySprinkles That sounds about right. Dogs are so expensive these days. I have a new puppy a toy poodle. She is my best friend. I would be so lost without her. They become your companion, and best friend. Your dog is a little cuttie.
Haven’t seen her yet but careful with treats in the car probably her first ride she could b so excited and get sick I live with 9 my family we have 3 babies here Wishing U the best for many years to come with Ivy there is so much to learn with Yorkies one suggestion always have a tube of NutraCal on hand they need to eat a lot of small meals when they don’t eat it’s like a diabetic the nutraCal will bring them back so always make sure she eat a few pieces of kibble & water. Congratulations to U & Ivy. Oh yes they can life to around 21 years. So the best to many many years to come 🐾🐾💜

You can’t leave an 8 week old alone in crate that long. She should only be left for as long as she can hold pee,which is 1 hour for each month old

Oh my gosh… poor puppy was locked in her crate for so long … did you leave food and water for her in there?… I hear puppies that small can have a drop in sugar very easily with out eating for long periods… she’s so cute ❤
Everytime she showed the crate the door was open. They puppy wanted to be in the crate because she felt safe! As you can tell she didn’t come out by herself until she was hungry

As gorgeous as she is 8 weeks is to soon to take her away from her mom, 12 weeks is the norm here in the uk for most registered breeders, my Yorkie is 2 next month, love him to bits. Always use a harness not a collar
