First time I came across a video from Matt. My goodness, the way he teaches and communicates what he's doing and why is so good, kept me engaged as well as entertained. So many times I caught myself smiling or chuckling. Now I have to give this a try. "Practice doesn't make perfection, it makes progress"
Awesome video. I have never seen that grind anywhere else. I second the older comment about wanting a video that shows sharpening a skew into that grind.
I am a member of the Detroit Area Woodturners (shameless plug) and there is a guy there who is also proficient with the skew, his name is Matt also. I guess to be proficient with the skew, it helps if your name was Matt.

Excelente herramienta excelente maestro
Great demo and explanation of how yhe skew works
Thanks Matt!
bravo !!!
Never thought of using the long point, or toe of the skew for making beads. That will open up a whole new and easier way of making beads for me.
That is Super Cool 👍
Great instruction. Could you do the same with a skew that does not have a Glaser grind. And maybe a video on sharpening a skew with a glaser grind.
