I was wondering if Kendostar would ever have a mix and match style set (like a slight discount for buying three different shinai in hopes and in faith that the purchaser to buy a future set of the one they liked) As always, absolutely amazed at the quality and abundancy of shinai that KendoStar has to offer and that you are always looking for innovation or qualities you think your community would love. Thank you and your staff for the dedicated work in these products you provided. Your hardwork shows for itself. Gambare!!!!

Great video, and loved that you named them as well. I tend to go to a boguya and just pick one that feels good, but now I can be more soecific.

I've been watching your videos for a while now! Your content is amazing!! I am just starting the first steps of my Kendo journey and this video (amongst others) has been incredibly helpful. Hibana is speaking to me for the future but for now, I'll try my hand with an "all purpose" model before I evolve into more particular models.
Really though, thanks for everything that you do! You're a real Kendo lifeline!

Would you recommend the Toukon to a beginner (about 2 months in) or would I „forget“ how to hold a round grip shinai? :D

No you would not forget. Lots of beginners find oval grips useful to get used to holding the Shinai properly.

please stop gluing the tsukas to the shinai, or whatever you do to make them stick this bad. i have been training kendo for about 20 years and have never had shinais that has stuck together this bad.
