Excellent content. Very helpful for prospective transplants like myself! Keep up the good work. Would also appreciate seeing more content covering Cambridge too.

I am going to Harvard with my wife and a 7-year/Grade 2 child. Which neighborhood/K-8 school do you recommend?

I am not yet an expert on the schools here. Still learning more in that area. Perhaps someone else reading this comment can answer.
I’ve heard many of the school districts just outside Boston towards Harvard are reputable.

Missing many other neighborhoods of Boston (Roslindale, hyde park, etc.). Cambridge and Chelsea are not part of the city of Boston and are their own cities with separate governments, etc.

    Any thoughts about Chelsea?

Truthfully I haven’t had the opportunity to explore Chelsea to a point where I feel comfortable writing a review about it.

Chelsea hasn’t been…. How shall I say it. Hasn’t been gentrified so much. Maybe not the best nighttime walking locale.

lol. You’re telling people from other parts of the country to start looking at the most expensive neighborhoods in the city. If someone from the mid west is able to afford $4000 a month for a studio, then by all means, get a place on Beacon hill. Otherwise you’ll be like the rest of us an pay$3600 a month for a 2 bedroom in a town 15 miles outside the city.
