I am currently on maternity leave, but work at my local humane society as an intake receptionist (helping with lost and found animals, owner surrender, boarding, etc). I love these types of videos! This one especially gave me some inspiration for what to chuck in my work bag! I also am doing hybrid work so seeing what you bring with you is helpful! I interpret sales tax legislation so the amount of things I bring into the office gets a little much. Having a good work tote is essential 🙌🏻

That's amazing, good for you!! ❤️ As for my job I do keep alot of it private, including details of what I do for work, I don't film when I go into work etc. Happy to share a few things that I'm comfortable with but it's really nice to have this boundary and have something for myself that isn't online! Hope you can understand ☺️
But I got my job just by applying! I feel like it's more about connections and who you know in healthcare and I had been looking for something with more flexible hours so I applied and got the job ☺️ I do a mixed bag of things- HR, finance, conference planning etc for a department in the hospital!

I work from home 4 days a week (Government Agency), but I have to go into the office once a week, and it is ridiculous how much crap I haul with me on those days! Since I only come in once a week, I don't have an assigned workspace--I have to "reserve" a shared office with other teleworkers, which is really annoying (35 years of service, and they won't give me a friggin' desk!) It is a 2-hour commute for me, and I'm diabetic, so I need to bring lo-carb snacks, testing supplies, etc. My co-workers are quite entertained when they watch me "unload" my Mary Poppins Bag to get set-up for work. In addition to typical purse things (wallet, keys, hand lotion, compact, etc.) I have office supplies (yes, I have to bring my own stapler), planner, pen case, laptop, makeup, energy drink, files, change of shoes (wear flats to drive and walk from the parking garage to my building--I put on the high heels at work), and a blanket! My office is in Phoenix, AZ and the hotter it is outside, they completely over-compensate with the air conditioner settings! My co-workers laugh at me on video conference calls because in the summer months, I'm always wrapped up in a fleece blanket--they always ask, "isn't it 115 degrees out there?" Yes, but my office is the temperature of a meat locker! Being prepared is essential; hence, the need for a Mary Poppins type bag! I have lots of pouches to organize all the little things. Thanks for sharing--I find this content so fun!

I work in the payment processing industry also known as FinTech. I used to be a Special Education teacher but I always felt so undervalued and unappreciated. TikTok inspired me to get into tech and I applied to so many tech jobs and now work for a wonderful company called Gravity Payments. I love my job and what I do. It's also super easy to wipe down too, which is super important for me when I go into the hospital!! It's a good material to wipe down with a Lysol wipe if you know what I mean🤣🤣
