As a ronin hater, kidding! Best way to deal with it is when phase... Just try to predict where is going to be place there when de-phase and it just blow up, i love that mechanic
It’s meant as more of an anti-Pilot weapon, honestly And it’s actually not bad damage if you land all the pellets on a Titan’s critical points, either; you just have to be clever with your sword block and phase timings if you’re engaging them from that far up-close Speaking of sword block … Ronin technically has the highest health of any Titan if he blocks all the incoming damage. I think he can actually survive most (if not all) of the Titan Core abilities that way lmao
@@corpsefoot758 I'd agree, after playing ronin a lot more recently I know his shotgun can be really good if you use it right. And ofc ronins best at hunting down pilots out of all titans

@@gvudrt8266 how can you say thunderstorm is best kit when you don’t even know what all the kits do. Highlander resets sword core after every titans kill. It’s what makes ronin one of the best titans for titan on titan game modes like lts ttdm and frontier defense. Arc wave is only useful for taking down legion and tones shield and slowing a scorch chasing you. You don’t need two if you use the first one right.

Scorch really counters ronin in all honesty. Both are close range titans, but scorch can easily out dps ronin by simply sticking their flame shield in their face, but I agree that ronins are pretty annoying.
@@xDno1420 Ushally if a scorch tries to flame shield my face I'll just drop smoke and phase behind him. Either hit him some more or let the smoke wither at him.

The only thing I'd buff with ronin is his shotgun strength, it doesn't seem to have enough damage output to offset his low health

Ronin is not a frontline titan for this kind of buff. If your health goes down very quickly, that’s a skill issue

@Bishop I usually just use my arc wave and electric smoke to stay out of the flame shield and just whittle down his health with the leadwall
