Thank you for the compliments, yea the 4.3 and 5.7 are similar in many ways, thanks for bringing that up you have a good point, the oil needs to be changed after the repair is complete, will be surprised how much gas will be in the oil thinning it out, not to mention the other effects to much fuel can have on an engine, thanks for the feed back

Not sure with the oem reman, however this new replacement is a Delphi Engine Management, corect the 4.3 and 5.7 are simular in many ways thanks for bringing that up,i have heard of a few plenums cracking during installation, never had one myself however im sure they have failed more than once, your welcome anytime, thank you for the feed back
Who makes the re-manufactured spider assembly? Great video for anyone with the 5.7 or 4.3 because this is a problem you will eventually have... Do the plastic intakes tend to crack over time? Very rough idle. now that the oil and fuel is mixing together it has rough starts, too! What is the brand of the part? Is it really called a spider injection? I'm working on a 2001 chevy S10 with 4.3L engine. I just completed this repair. I removed the distributor to change the gasket. Is there a shunt wire that needs to be unplugged to set the timing? If so where is it located?

Check your fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Fuel pump making a new noise. Gas mileage down, longer crank times to start? If you cycle the key a few times before starting does the stall condition go away?
i got a 1998 z71 with a 5.7 vortec and it idles rough and sometimes when i start it,it will almost stile out if i dont give it a little bit of gas but soon as i press the gas it stops it what do you think could be wrong with it?
Would a bad spider injector cause the 5.7 chevy truck to shut off while driving? Then wont start until the next morning. But then ill turn it on to warm up And when i turn it off. It wont start no more till later on. I NEED HELP.🙏🙏🙏

Guess who's check engine like came back on?? What could be my problem?? P0172 and P0175 trouble codes. Thanks for any assistance!
My fuel trims are reading very rich and after finally replacing the inejctors they are pegged out at negative fifty on the STFT and it drips out the tail pipe. I am at a loss for what to do... The pressure is nearly 60lbs on the rail running. I have read the return line can be blocked, can this be rectified with shop air blown through it? any suggestions is appreciated... thank you
great video, well narrated, but just because the regulator was leaking did u have to replace the whole spider injection unit? or did you just want to upgrade it, were you able to just get a new regulator or no?
this one has us has us baffled.this is a 1999 Chevy suburban lt k1500 5.7 vortex all this has been replaced. fuel pump, filter, fuel pressure regulator, spider injection, EGR, map,crank sensor, mass flow, plugs wires cap and rotor. and we get 60 psi on prime. it will start then shut off. I've had three different people at three different times tell me the security shit the pump off. no security light flashes or stay on. I have to do all this work stuck in the desert. so a mechanic is not accessible or they just lazy and won't drive into the desert 😁

i thought the best way to check the fuel regulator or injectors was with a pressure gauge on the fuel rail.If it bleeds off then you have a leak

can that cause a P0 420 all of my sensor are new mass flow air sensor is clean filter is clean
