    done that a few times! they say if the tank never gets filled only small amounts at a time causes that .....remember the old ones had that sensor by the tank

    I bet that customers truck has fuel in the oil because of a leaking fuel pump. I would bet that fuel in oil would reduce viscosity dramatically and cause internal engine damage because the customer continued to drive it because he was told you "fixed" it . Clearing codes without actually determining what caused the code some people would say makes you a scam artist or a terrible mechanic.
