    Mam, I have question that
    If in 1st case is work done = -1148
    and in second case work done = 1148
    Does it mean the same work done???
    As work is scalar quantity....
    Please answer.....

    Mam but in trolley case the angle between force and displacement is not 0 but making some angle between them

    Madam, I have a doubt. The work done can be negative or positive. Then why it is a scalar quantity?

      Good question bro . Work has only magnitude and no direction
      All vector quantity can be negative but it doesn't mean some quantity with negative values are possible are always vector

      At case 1 it is force applied to body by hand in direction of displacement to be in motion whereas 2 force friction tries to oppose the motion or displacement so both are different cases of single example

      If the angle b/w friction force and displacement is 180 (example when u slide a block then friction acts opp to displacement) nd is -ve ...if it makes a zero angle to displacement then the work is positive ( example: consider a two block system if the force is applied in the bottom block ftictiom will act opp to displacement so -ve work but for the upper block frictiom and displacement is in same direction hence +ve work)

    Nice mam but you missed the concept of w= f * cos thita * s
    Cos thita = 90° and cos 90 is equal to zero. So work done will be zero
